Thanks but here's what they told me when I asked if the items I wanted were eligible for free shipping

Sorry to say the items below would not be elligible for free shipping as they are not Antenocitis Workshop own brand but are Microart studio brand.

Kind regards,

=(

No experience with them yet. There are quite a few of their things I'd love to get though.

Von Skyfury, you'd be better off ordering MicroArts stuff direct from MicroArts, I think, unless you want a load of Antenociti's stuff yourself. I found I did want a lot of Antenociti own-brand stuff too, personally (they have some very nice urban bases that work well for Infinity, as well as lots of little individual scenic elements like intercom systems).

I've looked at ordering directly from MicroArts but oddly enough, things are even more expensive there ...

=(

I guess when I receive my models, it will motivate me to pay the extra 45$ for shipping...

I have a question for you guys. Did anyone of you ever used WorldWorksGames paper terrain? Since my LGS recently closed my group doesn't have any terrain since we used terrain from the store. At the moment I really don't have time (nor money, honestly) to invest in some terrain building and WorldWorks stuff looks really cool (and cheap). So the question is (if you used it of course) how difficult it is to put together? Is it durable (of course it can't be durable as regular terrain but I don't want it to fall apart after one or two games)? Can it be reinforced with something (cardboard, for example). Here are some links to the stuff I like.

This is their terrain catalog

Only the stuff they provided in a Rezolution starter box. I used them as texture skins for foamcard, rather than just as cardboard terrain (you pretty much have to print it onto card to make it sturday enough to game with).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

If you don't have any terrain at all, concentrate on accumulating a collection of buildings, walls, and crates first before going out and getting more exotic shapes like cars and space ships.

Especially since all of the things that you linked to are basically pattern files for papercraft/card board craft terrain. You should be able to find some free building or wall pattern samples, either on their site or on one of the other similar papercraft terrain sites. Get your supplies together, get used to working with the cardstock and paper to build walls, and then come back and browse through their vehicle collection.

You guys should also check out:

www.Hirstarts.com.

They have some great sci-fi molds that make amazing Infinity terrain. It's fairly time/labor intensive, but can end up being a lot cheaper and more flexible in the end.

The building in the middle of this pic was made almost entirely out of pieces molded from Hirst arts molds. The smaller pieces with crates to the right were also made with them.

Thanks for advice guys. I thought I could save some time with this but I guess that good, old fashion way is the best.
@Announcer
Great idea for Hirstart molds. I can't believe that didn't come to my mind.

Hmm... Interesting terrain styling, not too unlike my Necromunda stuff, scratchbuilt terrain is really my thing. May I ask is there a convenient online repository for Infinity fluff-images for inspiration?

Most of the art is in the rule books but you can find some of it online. There is not very many representations of scenery but here are the few I think are good example of the world of Infinity.

My favorite

I've been on a bit of a terrain-making frenzy (work avoidance), and got around to priming my creations today.

Generator (From top down: hilt of a sword from an ancient LotR videogame; random doughnut-shaped thing found in bits drawer; drink bottle lid; olive pate tin).

Industrial tower (Twiglets tube, right-angle nails (for the ladder), plasticard decking, another bit of that LotR game sword, bits of rubber track material, hot glue, chicken wire, ice cream lid, CD base (Guild Wars)).

Self-sufficient pod (It has a generator, an air filter (Zinge Industries fan mounted on an upturned bottletop), and a Uni-Com communications suite (a low quality, non-functional, wind-up mini-torch made by Uni-Com plus a land speeder scanner). Left side has a hatch (Robogear component, as are the handrails). Rear (not visible) has a Zinge ladder for roof access.)

Bunker, top view (This is a piece of cardboard computer packaging, with a Zinge blast door on the far side (you can just see the top of it -- it's modelled open) and some Robogear bits (along with a rubber cap and a Zinge cable) as a rooftop solar panel).

Oh Wow! Thanks a lot Ender0!

@Ian- Very cool man! I love the use of the platformer bitz with packaging! What are these right angle nails you are talking about? It gives a great effect!
See..I would not be able to resist painting yellow and black hazard stripes on the tower

Thanks! I picked the nails up as part of a random assortment of weird nails, washers, clips, etc. in a discount shop (Lidl or Aldi, I think). Most of it has made its way into my bits box...

Yeah, there will almost certainly be hazard stripes on the tower, eventually. Although I'm tempted to just dry-brush all this stuff silver to start. :( I have about 5 more pieces almost ready to prime...

Hi Guys

Awesome to see Dakka finally got an Infinity section! We've got a few bits of Infinity-suitable terrain coming up soon, starting with a small collapsible portable barrier, followed by a sci-fi take-away booth and a set of elevated roads (with elevating upgrade parts to be on sale shortly afterwards ), all from our plog but reposted here for anyone who doesn't frequent it

Now to paint those Military Order I've had lying around for a couple of weeks...

I do love the Happy Noodle.

The fact that the barricades collapse is really cool. You could Hack them at range to make them pop up to give you cover, or collapse and screw over your opponent.

Fun times.

Trust me, you want the MDF a little on the thick side. Means they'll keep up with the wear and tear of actual use.

The little barricades would be great for quick little military compounds... or used on facilities with mild security. Like how a lot of power plants and the like have Pop-Up roadblocks at the like.

I'd like a kit for making chain-link fence. It's the most realistic barrier to use.

Yeah, but Chainlink Fence is a total pain in the arse. You can go out and buy fine wire mesh and cut it to size, and then glue it down to six or eight inch bases. Then you can stack them when not in use, and deploy them in different forms when you use them.

But if they get dusty they are a nightmare to try and clean. And though they stop movement, they don't block Line of Sight... which is amusing.

I would have the rule that MI or heavier can just move through them. But MI need to make a Phys Check to make sure they don't get tangled up when they take out the fence. HI and TAGS are fine.

It needs to be a Monofilament chain-linked fence, then the HI and TAGS will have some fun.

As for the 40K ruins, cardboard strips painted as wood, work great for boarding up windows. The 40K City Fight book has some good pics of a fortified ruin, it's a good place to start.

If it's a mono-filament-link fence, Then I can just put two stakes into the ground and say there's a monofilament fence between the two.

And you would never know if I was lying or not until you checked yourself... and ended like that one guy from the first Resident Evil movie.

I don't now way, but that put a smile on my face. Now I want to be able to block door ways like that.

if the link part is already done for you it wouldn't be that bad I think. I can envision a kit of MDF with the metal or plastic links.

I would think a fence would at least be electrified. Especially a military one. It would need an engineer to get through or maybe a hacker can do something to shut it off.

@Noir - Well you can! Just find a unit that uses Monofilament Mines. When they explode, the template stays and bothers the hell out of everyone trying to get through until an Engineer disables it.

Here's some of the things my buddy has done. Sorry for the harsh shadows. He has horrible lighting. One of the guys on the Infinity forum posted about these plastic boxes at the Container store. He then went and bought like 20 of them on sale for about $2 each. Put on some stickers for windows painted them and then pulled off the stickers. The roof was done with a textured paint.
