If GW had done their version like this, I'd have considered a GK army.

Excellent work and follow through, absolutely love it.

Makes me think of what a Dreadknight look like if Privateer press made it.

The only parts that come from another kit are the thigh plates which are leg armor from a dreadnaught. The center chest icon is from a press mold of one of the GK Terminator icons. All of the other armor including the hip plates, additional shoulder plates and the large shoulder pads are scratch built. The groin, shoulder mid plates and hip guards are plasticard. The Shoulder pads are press molded greenstuff from a design for an inquisitor storm shield, then layed down on top of matching plasticard cutouts that are curved. The Head, Chest, giant purity seals and Loincloth are sculpted from a mix of greenstuff and apoxie clay.

Whoa...that is...absolutely freaking awesome. Kudos to you for making a model that looks like something the Grey Knights would actually use rather than the baby carrier mech.

Great model, much better than the standard look. I disagree with the guys that dislike the pose. It looks like he's sprinting/charging, a pose you don't normally see on big machines. Adds to the model by setting him apart from a "normal" dreadnaught IMO!

Fantastic! Love the feel of the build and the painting is spot on.

My one nitpick is the edges of the sculpted pieces - they're just not quite as crisp as the plastic parts. I might consider using a firmer putty for the bits to be cast, over-building slightly, and taking a file or sanding block to them to refine the edges. The general shape is great, so if you can match the sharpness of the stock parts' edges, the conversion bits will incorporate completely seamlessly.

Finally, a great conversion that doesn't look like a robot carrying an angry baby. The regular model looks like an angry baby carrying robot.
