maybe one hug pack a week.

$300 a month? That's a new army every 2 months, even with the latest price increase.

Or, possibly, a lot of subsidiary stuff like 3rd party cases, Forgeworld models, scenery, etc.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

I will continue to buy new releases for my existing GW armies but I don't see myself starting a new force any time soon.

I might get into Dropzone Commander if the rules are good, although I very recently bought two large 15mm scale sci-fi forces.

I'll buy a new car and house with the money I'll save.

Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

I won't be buying anymore GW stuff.
I've ordered the Malifaux rule book, two card decks and two starter crews. I also want some more stuff for my WFPA Heavy Gear army but I'll wait until the new books come. My Warmachine armies need some love but I have to see if there's any Warmahordes players in Luleå before I buy any more Warmachine stuff. Going to move there tomorrow since I finally got a job.

It's a bit sad that when I get a job GW raise the prices. I can definitely afford it now but I'm so damn tired of GWs attitude .

New stuff tends to be Infinity at the moment or terrain from non-GW sources.
(I haven't bought new GW in over a year - and even before that it was at most 2-3 pieces a year for the last 10 - the bulk of my armies were assembled by 3rd edition.)

If I see some GW stuff I like 2nd hand I might get it, but I'm done with buying it new.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Stopped quite a while back, but I've been spending -and will likely continue as such- my $ on a few things

-More post apoc miniatures and die-cast cars for conversions. Scavengers, cops, salvagers and savages mostly
-A platoon of Alternative Armies Retained knights (wanted these guys for years and now I've got them!)
-Picking up a bit of GW marines and a few oddities from the RT era as I find them, but not too often.

The club has a Song of Blades Fantasy campaign this summer, and I've already bought the necessary figs so there's even less incentive to buy new figs, though hopefully I'll be able to get some painting done.

Well I wanted another SR and was thinking about picking up a LR with a few DCA.

Since my FLGS told me about the increase (Same night the rumor hit the site). I have started up a Khador army.

I'll still play my GK and Eldar, but I wont be buying much more from GW, probably just the 6th ed rulesbook if it isn't over $60, and if it drasticaly changes the metta of the game forcing me to remake my armies I'm just gonna sell them. I get that its an expensive game, but for me it has hit the point that I just wont buy my toys at these prices.

Now with 100% more blog....

Brushfire is going to be getting my money and attention... I've been painting my minis and the more I work on them, the more interested I am becoming...

GW has lost me by the neglect of my primary, favorite armies (Sisters and Wood Elves), and the ridiculous price increases on my back up, next faves (Orks and OnG). I also have Lizards and Vamps for Fantasy, but the game itself is just... boring. If I wanted to roll dice and have random things happen, I'd go shoot craps. It would probably cost less overall, too.

GW lost me after the last time they pulled thier crap.

Now I am an avid skirmish game player, and have enough GW stuff to fund my gaming habits for a few years.

Trade one for the others.

A shame too. I still have a soft spot for rogue trader, and 2d edition stuff. ( yes, I'm still going to keep the orks. )

I will still buy 6th ed box set but I have loads of 40K/FW armies already.

If Warmachine ruleset plays as well as everyone says it does I will be spending big on it

Malifaux and other not GW stuff. Same is it has been for 4 years now. I love not paying GW to screw their player base. They increase prices to give less content in white dwarf. If you don't play the new hot army then your chances of winning in events is crippled. If you own certain armies, you will never compete, even in friendly games because of the lack of balance that they promote.

As I said, I love not GW games. So much more to love.

The Orks are the pinnacle of creation. For them, the great struggle is won. They have evolved a society which knows no stress or angst. Who are we to judge them? We Eldar who have failed, or the Humans, on the road to ruin in their turn? And why? Because we sought answers to questions that an Ork wouldn't even bother to ask! We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.

It can be done at a cheaper price. Especially if you buy 3rd party models.

Just buying fewer models or cheaper models, as well as more going to cheaper online retailers. Also, probably a bigger focus on quality over quantity, only buying one chimera instead of 2, but buying a fancy FW turret because I can and it looks nicer.
