I really don't know how you achieve such a realistic finish but I am envious of your talent, with Monkey on the banners really makes the model stand out.

cheers guy's for your kind comments, i'm glad your liking the builds.................i do! lone dirty dog.....I've got talent!............lol cheers mate that is high praise indeed thank you..........................PIGMENTS!..............i love pigments, they really give that 'gritty' effect that i'm after! i couldn't do a clean model! lol plus layers? what i mean by that is i have no problem putting on multi layers and then sanding some back to give the effect of years of different paint jobs and mud/dust/dirt build up over the years on the model at the end of the day these vehicles are working in worlds that have been devastated by some type of 'end of world' event i try to use a lot of techniques from the Scale military modeling community those guys know how to make vehicles look 'real' one of the main things i use, or don't use! lol ....very little in fact almost none? dry brushing i feel it doesn't give the effect i'm after, at the end it's down to how you want the model to look.....................for me 'DIRTY'!............... cheers AL

WIP Post Apocalyptic Chieftain MBT Hello Wastelanders, couple of wip pics of the Chieftain, added a lot of texture to turret and hull to really help bring out the rust and chipping that's coming, the crew have added their own bins and side 'skirts', lots of damage done........of course! i don't 'DO' clean for those that don't know the barrel as two terminal sleeves either side of the fume extractor, that's the 'round thing' 2/3 thirds along the barrel, over the years this crew have made there own!............old sheets and rope! (I've used rope, in real life to secure a terminal sleeve! it works!)............ still to add 'tarps' and stowage and securing brackets for side skirts........but it's coming along nicely.... cheers AL

I wonder how much of a tank a tank in a post apocalyptic world would be. I mean, it's not like they can reproduce ammunition and such. Wouldn't it eventually be a clunky armoured vehicle that can't do that much besides riding around? Taken from that point, I'd imagine people maybe even squatting such a vehicle, just building stuff on top of it or adding tons of spikes to them so it'll become some sort of ramming thing.
Food for thought.

Muahahaha, this is going to be awesome!
By the way, I've been working on some post apocalyptic madness as well, a bit more scifi/fantasy in nature though, but still after the end of a major catastrophe. Curious to hear your thoughts.

Great work London. Looking forward to seeing more.
As to the lack of ammo issue, the main cannon could be reconstructed into being a homemade mega flame thrower lol

Definitely more fitting to the theme now I did check in earlier but thought you were just still building but the new update really brings that back to AP standards.
Have you considered some kind of makeshift guard around the front hatch section kind of looks a little clean lined still.
Will you be sticking with the military colour scheme or going all out with some kind of makeover
