In general, I don't have such boxes. But sometimes painting takes rather long. However, I play only with painted models.

Yes, I do have some sealed kits.
- I have a Fantasy Lizardmen dinosaur thing which I plan on converting into a Squiggoth.
- I have a Space Marine Rhino which will eventually become a Big Mek Junka.
- I have numerous Necron Lords.
- Necron LychGuard
- Necron Flayed Ones
- a still sealed box of Ork Nobz
- citadel woods
- and a not sealed but complete Ork Trukk
And that's not to mention the lots of orks to be assembled and painted and most of an Imperial Sector to assemble.
I keep telling myself no more until I've built what I have, but then something else comes along. With Tyranids & Orks due out I'm bound to buy something new. And I have a planned trip to Warhammer World, and I'll probably buy an Ork Full Trakk.

Nope, no unsealed boxes. I plan my purchases quite carefully - If there's something I have no interest in or inmediate need of, I just don't buy it. Besides, I always take a peek inside the box just to check everything's in order and think of builds and conversion options. And as I love getting my fingers sticky with superglue, my models don't remain unbuilt for long. What I do have is an immense pile of unfinished terrain projects, though.

Unboxed? Nope... Unless you count the SG squad I bought and only took the gravgun/combi grav bits out.
Unpainted though? Guilty on this one. I've still got a good sized detachment that needs to be painted. Even worse, i still need to base a lot (70%) of my current list. (Which you would think is the easiest to do after painting them haha).

Nope.
Absolutely none of my boxes are unopened.
Every single one has been raided for bits at one point or another, even if I haven't actually built everything I bought...

Dakka is the ork word for shooting, but the ork concept of shooting is saturation fire. Just as there is no such thing as a "miss" in a target-rich environment, there is no such thing as a "dodge" in a bullet rich one

I have stuff still in it's box since 2010, when I really got into painting and modelling. Find something cheap, pick it up, another cheap thing, pick it up and so it continued until I promised that I would buy no more after getting the new Eldar. My goal is to paint (to paint well mind you!) a three year backlog of stuff before buying anything else.

Mutated Chosen Chaos Marine

I have a handful of CSM models that are still sealed, even more that are NOS. But in my defense, I decided (with the help of my gf yelling at me) to stick to my GKs and IG. My buddy is supposed to buy all my chaos stuff but I haven't seen him lately. Part of me wants to hold on to them and just get a few more things to round it out as a smaller army, but knowing how I am, it wouldn't stay like that for long lol.

Literally dozens of them!
I have a 10,000 point CSM army totally unbuilt apart from a few bits I bought off eBay, at least 3k of my Eldar are still in boxes, three razorbacks, a storm brick and two dreadknights for my GK, amongst others! Probably 15k unbuilt all told. Simply have not had time to build them and do them justice. I don't rush things!

I think this is the normal state of affairs for a large fraction of hobbyists. I personally am assembling a new army, and I bought most of it in one fell swoop. As I have a job, no, most of it has not been assembled yet.

Armies worth of them. I've had an Elysian force sat around for quite a few years, I have several squads of Krieg still sat in bags. I've got a few thousand points of Chaos WFB sat in boxes, along with the start of a small (2000 points or so) Empire army I've not touched, as well as about 2,000 points of Eldar still in box.

Very little. Normally boxes get opened up and drooled over. I think the only stuff I still have sealed is a pair of jet bike boxes. But I bought 3, and got derailed off my eldar project before I got to the other two. The plan was to replace the torsos with guardians, but that came to be a PITA, so kept getting pushed back until the marines released.
Although now that I think about it, I do have a box full of old random blisters from when one of my former FLGS went out of business. Mostly junk from odd companies and dead games, but I've pulled some useful stuff out of it.

About 15% if my stuff is unboxed. I try to get most of my stuff able to be used ASAP.
Of the rest, ~25% is assembled and ready for gaming, often magnetised.
Another 30% is painted and ready to go.
So, roughly 30% is in bits and scattered around the place waiting to be assembled.
