For the longest time I had this routine to play some heavy Industrial or retrowave on the way to games, like Frontline Assembly, Skinny Puppy, Velvet Acid Christ, and Pertubator.
It's your typical vanilla Action Movie pump up mechanical music.

For my Harlequins, it would have to be “Be Aggressive” by Faith No More. Really the whole Angel Dust album is perfect for 40k - I listen to it regularly while painting.

For my space marines I've always leaned towards the classic 'O Fortuna' -

My friend likes to play the beginning of 'Sail into the Black' by Machinehead for his Khornate army -

During a tournament, I played Disturbed-Indestructible while deploying my Dark Angels. Was actually a pretty big hit.

I don't want the best army, just one that isn't an exercise in picking up my models by turn 3.

If I had 100 + Drukhari kits all in plastic to choose from, or 100 + Sisters kits, I think I'd be more likely to be receptive to Space Marine player's complaints about anything.

For my Imperial Knights:
Imagine an Imperial Guard battalion pushed back out of a ruined city by Chaos forces, they are dug into trenches outside the city as the enemy descends on them in heavy fog. The Guardsman call for reinforcements over and over again, the fog dissipating in the city towards the Guards position, and the Chaos forces move through the streets towards the Imperial position.
A Defiler charges the line, and the Guardsman open fire to no effect, then, over the Vox-caster this plays: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckPfk3Lu8PU
Before the Defiler hits the lines of the Imperial Guard, a Knight Gallant bursts from the fog behind them and slams the Defiler with a powerfist uppercut sending it reeling back into a desiccated building. Right behind the Gallant a pack of Armiger Helverin sprint into the city streets and begin laying down heavy fire into Chaos Space Marines, tearing them apart before moving to the next group. The fog completely dissipates to the sound of an Avenger Autocannon revving as countless rounds pour into ruins the Chaos forces are firing from, loud explosions as its Thermal Cannon rattles off shot after shot into Chaos armored forces. A second Gallant sprints in sawing a Rhino down the middle, oil from the vehicle and blood from its passengers spraying out, and in one devastating attack, the Chaos forces retreat, and the Imperial Knights fall back in the direction they arrived from, the Vox-casters falling silent.

No-one has mentioned the OST for the best 40k vidya ever? Shame on you heretics, now go listen to some Chaos Gate and its sombre tones of space monk chant! Do it now or the Angels of Death will drop through your roof and eat your children, as they are known to do.

But seriously. It is very thematic and atmospheric in a way very few manage to be. Stuff like Felix Mortis is something I could imagine going through my space knights' heads as they trudge through the worst hell holes in the name of their distant Emperor, who they'll never see nor hear but for whom they'll unhesitatingly die, unknown and unremembered as the cogs of a gigantic uncaring machine that is Imperium of Man. For what is an Astartes, if not a blade or a bullet aimed at those who'd hinder humanity's manifest destiny as the sole purveyor of xenophobic theocratic oppression across the galaxy? I play loyalist Death Guard, though.
