It's a Wolf character, that's probably a pelt on his back swinging in the wind.

Wasn't there a long lost HH Wolf character that FW never released?

Yup, Bran Redmaw, but not from HH. It was from Doom of Mymeara. They showed him at an event as a WIP, and that’s the last we saw of him. That outline isn’t that model.

Unless there’s a lot of psychological stuff going on, it looks like they’ve put a lot of effort into the wrapping paper to make it look like other stuff. Kudos to FW for that.

Looks like it could be a mechanicum axe on the one side and a servoarm looming over the other shoulder.

Listen, when people are speculating it's a wolf on a turtle I don't think a Bloodthirster with bad Forgeworld wings is too big a stretch.

Fairly certain it's Hvarl Redblade, Wolf Lord of the 4th Great Company (or 7th-seems to be a canon conflict?). Wears Tartaros armour, wields a heavy bolter and a big power axe from Terra. He has some rules in Inferno, but no model.

That would certainly fit the wrapped profile.

Surely it’s the backpack top left, that has wolf head shape exhausts.
Then axe arm out.
The lower bits, the ‘wrapping paper’ isn’t necessarily wrapped tight to the details of it, as with above parts, so may be clearer later.

When do they reveal these usually? Christmas Day?

Haven't they released a holiday White Dwarf like, every year for the last few years? He has a similar axe to that shape, and pointed, semi-mohawk like hair. He could be standing on a mound of presents. /shrug

So he’s on a pile of dead HH characters. Largest Forgeworld base to date with all the dead primarchs underneath him. He and the black goblin are the two missing primarchs .

It would introduce daemons to 30k and would also introduce the majority of the blood angel heroes.

Ka'Bandha returning and having an actual model would be amazing.

It would be pretty awesome to see a plastic box set for the horus heresy be released with new blood angel or centric units of that time be released.

Plot twist; he is now - he first manifested the Wulfen form in the Heresy, then went off with the 13th into the warp, hung out for a bit, then was the first to come back (as the sanest available), sent to negotiate the Wulfen’s reintegration into the chapter.

That comparison pic with Bran clearly show the "Wolf Head" dont fit the style of the usual SW character back packs.

BA fit with the current releases; picture looks kind of wolfy i guess. Im hoping for Kid Cawl, the boy wonder mechanic.
