Well, lets keep the momentum going...

Looking to the year ahead I'll be looking to do the following...
- Depending on Forgeworld, probably a new Titan legio for Adeptus Titanicus.
- Getting the homebrew Space Crusade finished by making an event deck app for Android.
- Collecting a small Eldar army
- Painting a medium sized Tyranid army.
- Long shot, but saving up for Space Hulk or a new Warhammer Quest game should one appear in late 2020.
- Might flex my programming skills and write a small "tabletop" skirmish game for a classic computer such as the ZX Spectrum or maybe even the Megadrive.
- Learn how to sculpt?

...best wishes to all.

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

Fortress world of Ostrakan

- Finish Ork Cybork-themed Killteam
- Finish the converting and painting of my Guardsmen. About 50 is still needed to be done.
- Assemble more tanks, and convert them accordingly to fit the rest
- Paint the Calladius Grav tank
- Repaint the Skitarii
- Improve painting skills (further)
- Learn how to sculpt from green stuff
- Start a commission painting studio
- Build random trash terrain pieces

I hope I would fulfill at least half of those points...

Hopefully 2020 will be the year I get knee deep into painting my Chaos armies. I started a Slaanesh themed CSM army this year and have painted my first few squads. I still have some vehicles I want to paint for my Primaris Crimson Fists and Deathwatch, but have almost completed all the infantry I need for Imperial Space Marines.

So I'm hoping I can get the following done:

2 Crimson Fists Repulsors
1 Deathwatch Razorback
1 Deathwatch Corvus Blackstar
~10 Chaos Rhinos (mix of Deathguard and Slaanesh CSM)
15 CSM Havocs
10 CSM Terminators
40 CSM
~50 Plague Marines
20 Blight Lord Terminators
3 Plagueburst Crawlers
6 Foetid Bloat Drones
~100 Poxwalkers
~100 Cultists

I've got more models to paint than I can count, but if I can make a decent dint in that pile I'll be delighted.

Imperial Soup
2200pts/1750 painted
2800pts/1200 painted
2200pts/650 painted
217pts/151 painted

2020 will hopefully see more of the backlog cleared, these are my current plans:

Build and paint the 5 intercessors, 5 incursors, 5 infiltrators, 5 hellblasters and 3 aggressors still on sprue

Build and paint the Combat Arena heroes

Stretch Goals:
Build and paint an Adeptus Mechanicus Kill Team consisting of 10 Skitarii and 10 Sicarians

Painting:

- Spires and 100 Kingdoms armies for Conquest. That's about 70 models, some of them rather big...
- Continue through the WHFB backlog & future arrivals: Nurgle, Tomb Kings and desert Dark Elves. That's many models... 120?
- Finally get painted that terrain. Not much but needs to be done.

Gaming:

- Get some whfb rolling, and eventually KoW or Warlords of Erehwon using the same models for multiple systems.
- Try to get a game of Conquest. Maybe doing demos to attract interest?
- Further test my skirmish game. If I manage to get the final version done, set-up a website with all the stuff for free and print some copies.

Extras:

- Recently been interested in starting MESBG... must resist a while before eventually giving in.
- Expand on Conquest armies if Parabellum releases more cool models.
- Maybe get back into Rogue Trader 40k.

I have no clue personally. I'm possibly moving in January to a place that has no gaming readily available. So if I go, I'll get to attend a few major tournaments, namely ATC, and hopefully be able to get out to the ones in Dallas and Austin.

Beyond that, I'll continue painting. I'll very likely slow down purchases, so I can catch up on painting. Finish my Dark Angels up, and then start figuring out how to paint Australian camo, for Team Yankee.

If I don't move, then I'm hoping to get a ton of gaming in. Two majors in my state in February, ATC in June, Siegeworld and Nashcon in August. So lots of events to attend, and then the continual growth of the scene in my town.

Two goals:
- Start and finish the modelling of my 500-point Black Templar and Imperial Fist successor forces
- Paint both forces to an acceptable level

I feel like starting small is a good idea considering my work and school obligations.

Paint what is left of my unpainted models (which should be less than 20).

Build and paint more terrain.

My basic goal is going to be to paint up at least 1 unit per week from among games I'm actively playing.

This could be 40k, AoS/WHFB, Bolt Action, Black Seas, or Flames of War (WWI/WWII/Nam/Arab-Israeli/Team Yankee). Wich one doesn't much matter as long as progress is made....

Hiding behind terrain

I really need to paint my primaris, death guard and infinity stuff.

Also I should build any remaining MDF kits I have so I can see how much space it all takes to better store it.

Main project for 2020 for me is to work on my new games room. Finally going to have a dedicated room for my hobby, so I can build terrain that I want to play over, and theme it to match my army bases.

After that I really want to get back into Warmaster.

Given the arrival of my first kid is due soon, I fully anticipate that my hobby time is going to become a thing of the past.

The objective of the game is to win. The point of the game is to have fun. The two should never be confused.

I've managed to get rid of my pile of shame this year with no unbuilt models left in my collection.

For this year I'm going to be working on

- A scenery project I started at the start of the year but it stalled mid year. I need to finish building it before I start painting it all.
- Bother to paint more. I'm not good at it and don't enjoy it apart from short stints. I'm going to aspire to 3-4 hours painting in a week over this year.
- Find new people to play with. My group has fallen away this last few months and I can't see it coming back any time soon.
- Continue building up my primaris BA and getting rid of the oldstartes before it's too late.
- Round out my Asuryani hosts and finally get rid of all finecast models that I own.

Cheers for the thread as it's really helped me focus on what I needed to do this year.

-Have all minis of the Project Z box painted
-Have my bolt action table finished.
-Set up a S.T.A.L.K.E.R-inspired "Campaign in the Zone" for 40k and have it successfuly run.

That'd already be great, sice I have always dedicate less and less time to wargaming, a bit because of work but mostly of me spending time and money at other hobbies as well.

By December finish my 2000pt Hedonites list (3 KoSs, 3 units of Hellstriders, Contorted Epitome, Cogs, 80pts left)

Both goals are so long for such small projects because I have a baby coming in March!

I recently returned to the hobby after a serious eye issue that caused me to have to give up painting. Now that's it's corrected, I want to get back into painting and also, my 12 year old son suddenly got interested in 40K Kill Team. We are both working on putting together an army each and then will try to learn the game. I am working on Primaris Space Marines and he liked the Tau models. Have the Core Manual, and now need to get a board and some terrain. Very excited.
