The ex Minotaur is great, the colours really suit the chaos Marines. Sister Dorales is certainly not safe for work! Nice job on all of that skin

40K Civilian Car

love this car from Wolsung, I think it works great for a high end civilian 40k car, but I think most punk sub genres can work if dropped straight into #40k

What do you think?

car with a unfinished Rogue Trader

Week 12

No points last week but this week I got some stuff finished.

Starting points 70
Points earned: 25
Total points 95

Points calculations
Built x 3 = 3 points
Finished = x7 normal (2pts each), 1 character (4pts) & 1 large (4pts) = 22pts

Great looking car, kind of looks like a skull from the front angle, so totally 40k . Would also fit in a pulp genre game nicely as a bad guy get away car.

The car looks neat, and seems to be a pretty good match scale wise for Janus. Another great haul of minis for the week too

I'm glad I found this thread today. The point system is very useful. I will have to give it a try. Your painting skills are great. The guardsman has a lot of character.

Hobby Hoard Clearance 12 week review

In the last 12 weeks I’ve built 97 minis, finished 29 and only bought 2 new minis.

12 weeks in and the system seems to be working

But some tweaks are needed to keep me going/ build some “healthier” hobby habits, I’ve made the below changes to the “plan”

I like your system. Personally I've built more models in less time (not to brag, but I'm very proud of the 400 some odd models I've built in the last 8 weeks), but none of mine are even primed. You've actually gotten stuff painted and finished (and I can't seem to stop myself from buying more minis all the time). I think I might have to adopt this method. Thanks for posting it.

The Sisters of Battle are really coming along nice.

Great job clearing hobby backlog during the pandemic. I just keep printing more models .

Love the gunslinger model, one of my favorite figs of recent years, and your doing great work on him.

Notice the tiny hands
The Fake Tan face
The Repulsor belt so he doesn't have to walk

Do you know he couldn’t have been an Astartes if he’d wanted

He became governor with out the help of anyone least of all be cause he was the heir to governorship

Hobby Hoard Clearance Week 17

3 minis finished and an MDF kit built

Took ages the finish these Intercessors think I need to find a method to get through batch painting minis really struggle.

Used Macragge blue on these guys and i prefer it to the old ultramarines blue so now I’m going to have to repaint my marines

Pizzaria from Wolsung, I’m going to change the sign to something 40k appropriate “imperial coffee” “Dorn’ios Pizza”, Pizza Cult, CFC (cadian fried chicken) or McDonalds cause that will be around until the stars go out.

Starting points 146
Points earned: 12 (9 for 3 finished minis and 3 for the MDF sub assemblies)
