Few factions in Warhammer Age of Sigmar exemplify being reborn or remade better than the Stormcast Eternals, so I'm entering this squad of Vindictors:

Hopefully I can get them done in a reasonable amount of time.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

It's about time I finished this stompa. It's been sitting on my shelf for too long.

Those all look like very good model choices Viterbi.

Good effort for the Stompa Mr Nobody, I hope you get it all done. Looks rather cool already.

That was quick Mothsniper, good detail on them as well

My proof Pic, this Deffkopta is going to be remade & reborn into something glorious (hopefully).

The biggest one wins, right? That's how most competitions work...

I'm gonna need to base my entry on a bigger rock then...

Okay, got some work done on these guys too. Not gonna lie, these dudes are almost done. They're just troops and I'm not gonna go all out on half the squad or do one squad waaaay better than the other one, so... Get ready for a very basic entry. I should actually pull these dudes and enter my command squad dudes because they will actually get painted to a higher level, but I wanted to enter models that I actually customized to fit with the theme, so you're stuck with these.

So the Mk5 Marines are from the regular Tac Squad box, with some light greenstuffing, armour stud making and head swaps. The helmetless Mk6 guy is also from the Tac box, there are enough bits in that kit to make several Mk6 guys (so long as you don't use all the beakie helmets for another project like I did). The Mk4 marine is not the best example of a Mk4 marine because his legs are from the old CSM kit, but he does have a Mk4 helmet and torso. I do have another Mk4 marine but he is in the squad that is already done so, can't show him off here.

As the main purpose of the comp is to get through pile of shame, I'll be painting my new Primaris Crusader Squad for this month as the goal. I've got a fair amount of crusaders done in the past (firstborn) but this is my crusader squad reborn as Primaris.

Proof of starting condition:

Main Force - About 2000 pts painted - about 9 billion of unpainted/conversion bits
-Harlies, Chaos as some dormant projects

I successfully got through the first week of the month without getting anything of note done, but I finished Vader's base yesterday. That sounds an awful lot like progress and I should take it easy with so much of April still left.

Cleaned off the bases and have the models attached along with a fresh base coat. I don't know why, but they annoyingly had cut grooves into some of the bases that I have tried to fill with putty.

I'm back after a long absence... and so is this model, originally put together in 2012....

He's definitely been remade, although I'm not sure how much improvement it is...

He was built to provide a Rokkit Launcha option (back when it was available) for a Trukk:

Good luck everyone!

Here’s my finished entry who I suppose is some kind of a Fox Ghost Warrior type. It’s a bit… idiosyncratic? if not actually a good paint job but ho hey it’s done and I like it well enough though I can’t say I’d be keen to make any more.

And a bonus pic just to help show the scale, as he’s a bit larger than the pics might suggest, bring on a 40mm base.
Spoiler:

Here beside a couple of WFB Skaven you can see the scale a bit better.

That’s all the necromancer re-made from me. More like reanimated, or resurrected or something. Whatever he calls it it’s much scarier now than it used to be.

Ugh, it doesn't look like I'll get my primer in time. I'll go through my pile of shame for something already primed that fits the theme & go from there.

My swashbuckler will have to pop up in another challenge...
