Someone asked: Some of the text is slanted on purpose, I wanted to give the feel someone was standing on a ladder scrolling it on by hand, so some of the script would be slanted where they had to lean etc

This army is, as ever, a genuine inspiration the level of detail and the genuine care, thought and attention that has gone into every part of it makes me genuinely glad to be part of the Hobby

I imagine it varies.

I always imagined they were probably stripped down after each battle if they could be recovered. Certainly the internal stuff, the computer parts, the storm bolter are reused, but the rest is probably either abandoned or melted down.

Here's a question for you: would you think that a Dreadnought could actually fit inside a normal plastic Drop Pod? I've always doubted this myself, and have often wondered whether a FW Dreadnought Drop Pod would be best... An answer would most certainely be appreciated - Cheers, RP!

Have been working on this idea myself

As I figure it the central chamber needs widening lengthen the circumference and make grooves for the support struts then make a turbine system wide enough to encompass the top of the pod the existing pieces complimented by plasticard components may suffice.

I'll try this idea next time I buy a drop pod and put my work up (Shadow and Blur free) on here

There's IA rules for a dreadnought drop-pod that has the assault vehicle rule, basically.

My other 2 sternguard are on the back burner for a week or so.
I'm currently painting up a unit of Chaos Warriors for my new Warriors of Chaos Army.
Can anyone tell me if I got a good deal? Fairly sure I did.

15 Chaos Warriors
5 Chaos Knights (Metal)
5 Maurders on Horses.
5 Old metal Warhounds.
A Chaos Wizard with familiar.

Also a Slaanesh Champion and a Slanassh Lord, but I doubt I:ll be using them as I want to stick to undivided. I'll probably pick up a Chaos Lord on a demonic charger or something to lead the host. Total price was about $65 or $70 US.

This army won't be painted to the level of my Blood Ravens, however. Will just be doing them to a tabletop standard to play with. Just doing 5 colours per mini, and 1 highlight coat. Will go to down on my Lord, tho, obviously.

As for my Ravens, the completion order is going to be this.
Finish the Sternguard.
Finish the Tactical Squad.
Paint Vulkann.
Paint the second Tactical Squad.
Paint all 3 Rhinos.
Land Raider
Terminator Squad
Predator.
Paint all the librarians.

And I'll be breaking up each project speed painting up a Chaos Warriors unit until I have the full 1k army painted.

On another note, anyone know any good links to Warrios of chaos tactics? I'd like to play a mass infantry army with a little as possible in way of huge units or toys.

Have to say that I am really impressed with everything I have seen of yours.
