I'd say predator, i like how you do vehicles and the highlights you do on them.
with the flat surface, i understand why it looks funny, i think its the angle that you did highlights (particularly on the bottom). and what paints did you do for the NMM, they look alot better than metallics.

That is probably THE best banner bearer I have ever seen as good if not better than 'eavy metal standard. And for your first ever army its absolutely flawless, this is (or will be) golden daemon material.

Also, do you know what you need? Terminators. You need to add Terminators to your army. I'd like to see Blood Ravens Termies painted up by you. Be sexy as all hell.

Just read through this cover to cover and I must say I'm liking it all. The conversions are fantastic; sometimes subtle but well done. The paint work is also brilliant.

Back on topic, would love to a recent group shot of what you've got painted and unpainted because from the sounds of things you've got alot going on.

I think you've done a great job with the Blood Ravens, given me some thoughtful ideas on how to paint up some of my marines and guard for that fact (they have red on them also).

That's the idea.

I'll be ignoring things like wolf cavalry and stuff that is obviously space wolf.

But it'll let me use the 15+ odd chsracters I've converted up that can't be used really in any effective list in Codex Marines, but the option to play codex marines is always there (as it is for any wolf player)

Lone Raven

Lone Raven's are the the champions of the Blood Ravens who aspire to be added to the ranks of the Veteran 1st company.

Sent ahead of the main force, alone, but geared to the best of the ability of the chapter those who survive a one year crusade in this role are proven worthy, and inducted into the 1st company, given the privledge of wearing terminator armor, and entering the noble elite who govern the Blood Ravens chapter. Many famous Blood Raven captain or chapter master has earned fame and glory while wearing the wings of a lone raven.

Any marine may opt for the test at any stage of his training.

However, not all sagas end in songs of victory. Many a marine has lost his life in a vain attempt for personal glory before he was ready.

Thats really cool, I even like your reasoning for the lone raven thing, makes more sense then the space wolves one also.

My crit would be his toga/dress thing. The way its painted it looks like you need to keep on higlighting more to pure white or something I m not sure...

But it way better then what I can do, good work.
