ooooo I can see something is brewing between nids and necrons. We still haven't heard from Corax, The Outsider or Commander Farsight.

I sense that the tyranids will never find that bio-ship.

The Imperium would die, Eldar would die out, and Chaos would prevail.

You have one problem in your story and that is the death of Lion El' Jonson.He can't die of old age because primarchs are generally immortal.

• En route back to Fenris, the Space Wolves receive a distress call from a nearby damaged ship. The distress is heavily corrupted and hard to make out, however it is undeniably imperial. Russ bids his sons make ready for a rescue mission and sends two Strike Cruisers to the location of the stricken craft.


• The Borealis and The Oroborous translate near the vessel, which they discover is a heavily damaged civilian freighter. Scans reveal it to be named The Ultimate, and there are several life signs aboard, many of them very weak. Several Scout teams infiltrate the vessel and find 200 human refugees, about a third in a state of injury or distress. One individual steps forward claiming to be the leader of the ragtag group. His name is Melchior Amadeus.


• The Strike Cruisers tow the Ultimate back to the Space Wolves fleet, and Melchior requests to meet with the Space Wolves commander. Food and shelter is provided for the civilians, whilst the Space Wolves work on repairing the stricken Ultimate.


• After he is rested and his people secure, Melchior is brought before Russ. Many of Russ’s retinue are surprised that the little man is not taken aback by the glory or presence of their Primarch, but Russ see’s through the situation immediately. “I am not the first Primarch you’ve encountered, am I Melchior?” asks Russ.


• Melchior sighs deeply and with much sadness. He looks up at Russ with tear stricken but anger-filled eyes. “No my Lord” he says “I bring grave news from my home of Calth…your brother the Lord Guilliman has returned, and he has damned my home to madness…”

OOOoooooooooh! Dramatic!

Can't wait to see how this plays out! Russ has attacked one of his brothers before, will he do it again?

I tried getting through this thread, but at 11 pages and counting, ill have to make up some of the pages that ive skipped, due to time constraints placed on me by the Real Life.

One question/issue that i have, is wouldnt there be a decline in the number of psykers born? As i had previously understood it, because of the Emperors rise to prominence in M29 or whenever it was, there was also a gentle rise in the number of psykers born (at least outside of the navigator houses).

Additionally, what happens to the Imperial space marines librarians, with the diminished presence of the warp?


Other than the librarian psyker issue that i have, this is a VERY well done timeline, and i am deeply intrigued.

The guy above asked why you had made the Lion die of old age. Luther, despite being to old for the implantations was still gen-enhanced to the point were he didn't age.

hmmm CHAOS and the Imperium are pretty central to the 40k Universe. Imagine if the STARCHILD arrived kicked CHAOS in the 'nads and finished it off.

it would result in:-

1. A lot of very confused Eldar.
2. A massive kick ass offensive against the 'nids (always a popular choice as no one likes being eaten!) as the whole imperium turns against this threat.
3. The Imperium getting really bored and eventually imploding into civil war again....
4. The collapse of the Eye of Terror.
5. 1 Billion Cadian Unemployed ex-soldiers (major problem, though mercenary work is available).
6. Downsizing of the Inquisition through natural wastage and redundancy schemes.
7. The Dark Angels getting very drunk and consoling themselves that they aren't forgiven. Cypher would be found on terra selling the big issue.
8. The Grey Knights lose their Job security and therefore go on strike.

It may result in:-

1. The re-emergence of the Sq**ts (ssshhh be quiet they are the race who cannot be mentioned).
2. All the Primarchs would return for a big street party on Terra.
3. Peace prosperity for all... Actually probably not.

Ah Come on, i might have been a little facetious about it, but many of my points are legitimate.

What would happen to the Grey Knights?
As the Eldar gave birth to one of the Chaos Gods how would they cope? Would they now survive and thrive?
Would the eye of terror collapse?

Space marines are according to german lexicanum practically immortal due cellular regeneration.Luther may die after 10k years and after all he isn't a full space marine.

• There is visible shock from the gathered Astartes, and many of them wince at whatever punishment Russ will deliver at such a heinous accusation. Meanwhile, the Sol System.

• A tense standoff has descended in the Sol System, with the amassed Jupiter Defence Fleet defending Terra, and the Cadian Imperial Fleet led by Creed. No shots have been fired yet, but the Council has demanded Creed’ immediate withdrawal from the system.


• However, things are soon to change. Through the Jupiter Blockade flies a single tiny ship. It is the colour of the void itself, its angles perfectly crafted to deflect radar and avoid the interests of visual sensors. Surrounding it is an energy field of pure shadow, and anyone who see’s it almost instantly forgets that they have seen anything at all. It darts between the lumbering defence fleet and makes all haste toward the picket line set up by Creed.


• As soon as the ‘stealth-ship’ is out of range of the Jupiter fleet, it lowers its stealth fields and broadcasts a message direct to Creed’s flagship The Blade of The Emperor. The message states “Thorn wishes Stone. Shadowed Eagles Bringing Revelation. Twin Moons ascending.” Creed smiles as he realises the implications of the message, and immediately makes ready for the Stealth Ship to dock.

Space Wolves vs Ultramarines on the Ultra's home turf, Ouch. The Galaxy would most definitely burn.
