Terror Tactics practically announces you are here. I recken Nihtgane is more stealthy than even the best of Tanith, but thats not the main point of this thread

I voted for Catachans...and in retrospect I think I misvoted. After giving it some careful thought, I probably would have given it to the Chem-dogs, the Death Korps or the Valhallans instead.

That said, I echo some previous posts in this threat wondering why the Last Chancers didnt make the cut.

At the time I mistakenly believed The Last Chancers were twelve guys. Someone pointed out that in the novels they are a legit regiment of thousands that gets whittled down in an almost Tanith like fashion. Sorry if they're you're fave. I guess the Savlar are the closest thing on there.

Since I can't vote that, I'd have to go with the Catachans, the Vostroyans a close second, (loving the Helghast/Russian vibe coming from there).

Voted DKoK for the fluff, though if I -ever- start an IG armt, I shall make them Valhallans so I can base them similat to my SW and won't look bad playing Apocalypse.

I chose Death Korps but...

Mordians are brutal, the're all supposed to be from a world of constant night and are the most disciplined IG regiment, (at least according to, IIRC WD 314)

Went with Tanith, mainly because of all of them they are the most "fleshed" out, but that is due to what fluff books I have read so far. Badass could mean alot of things, but given how these guys do the job with what they have, they will always shine to me.

i think they are based on pre-wwI European military, but the USMC dress uniform is similar.

cadians have one of the tamest homeworlds of the IG- steel legion are in a constant war in toxic environments against the largest waagh in history, catachans are aformentioned, death korps...why are they called death korps? Mordians are fighting off repeated ork attacks, tanith go around with only one regiment in wars which normally several take part, and excell in suicide missions...the list goes on...

DKOK are awesome, but Cadians are too because they have...

I didn't vote for Cadians but I like to give them some credit. Just becuase there isn't fancy stories about them doesn't mean they have there own style. look at the karskins, sure game wise there the same but fluff wise there basically there the best of the best without becoming a space marine. However I voted for the drop troopers. Almost every IA fluff story they get the shaft but they fight for every step of ground they land on.

Well they have Cadian Blood which is getting good buzz around Dakka.
Elysians are in a perpetual Battle of Mogadishu so it just never works out for them.
