After gaming this weekend I decided to head home and get to work!
First up where some heavy turrets I'd gotten from Old Crow Miniatures. I figure these will be great sentry guns/ Tarantulas.

Here they are next to the aegis walls.






Then today after doing some work around the house I painted the Sentinels of Blue Company, and Red Company's lead.




Just like before these aren't based and don't have the final weathering applied.
These all joined Red Company in my foam and into my closet. I'm trying to figure out if I should paint russes or chimeras next.

I might've missed it, but did you say what armament the sentinels will have?

DiDDe - Started last night, I'll get photos later. I'm going to put a hold on painting them cause I'm out of the Grey.

Lord Kaesar II - The sentinels are magnetized. They can have their choice of Lascannon, Multilaser, Heavy Flamer, or Plasma Cannon.

3 second hand russes with stowage!

Well I'd forgotten that I had set aside the tan russes to be punishers as the track guards world work best for keeping spent shells from falling into the gears.
So realizing I needed a cooler looking punisher cannon I built this

And slotted it into the turret

Then I built the actual barrels using a large punch set a drill bit and a steady hand.

When you combine the 2 on the turret with the ammo feed it looks really bad ass



Well the picture makes them look a little purple but I have finished the blue touch ups on the 3rd Co.


I also finished painting the assault packs.


I did a little bit of drybrushing to make it look like the idling glow from space marine.

And attached them to the assault marines


Next up is finishing off the IC's and then I'll be done with this part of the infantry!

Tonight I primed 20 3rd Edition Storm Troopers (the special forces guys) 10ish commissars, 10ish assassins, and 10ish agents of the Inquisition!



With the line infantry done for a time its time to concentrate on the ICs!

All they need is a heavy black wash and a little touch up!

Last night I finished the 4 Crusaders. I tried something a little different on their cloaks, going with a chaos black then a very dark grey drybrush and then washing it all in black. I can't decide if I like this or the grey with washes (like the last batch) better.

Ive always love the look of those models BUT i hate the static poses, nice job on the cloaks though i like em

It's true you're army could easily square of with every mini in my collection at once, and it might just be scary enough to get that many apposing forces to fight together.

Last night I was able to put the temporary finishing touches on the 3rd ed storm troopers


And primed my kasrkins


Next is getting the kasrkins up to the same level as the 3rd ed storm troopers and then dipping them all, highlighting them and applying metallics.

The marines you see are another commission. They're about 3/4 done now.

i really hope gw eventually makes a plastic kit of those nice stormtroopers, as i LOVE the way they look and it would be nice to see an army in their style

Rogue Wolves - Thanks! They're one of my favorite storm trooper poses. I wish I had more of them but Kasrkins were cheaper so that is why I have a bunch of them.
I tried the first shipment of zinge industries belts and was not that impressed.

Well all 90+ stormtroopers are up to the same standard. I was originally going to dip them all right now but I figured I'd wait till the large batch of guardsmen were ready as well, then invite some friends over for some beers and make a day of it.
