Wow. Great conversion! I actually like the sponsons more on that chassis, they seem less oversized which I think is what puts me off on the full kit itself.

I'm tempted to pick some of those up for my SM (fluffwise Tau tech-heretics), but I'm worried that it will cause problems in gameplay. How closely do your vehicles match the dimensions of Games Workshop Space Marine Rhino APCs?

So, I had a bout of zero will power and ordered the hover APC and all the tanky bits to put on it.
With shipping it still came out cheaper than a Predator at retail.

I thought the halftrack version of this looked like a poor mans- rhino....but I'm really impressed what a little repurpose and hoverjets does for this design. Had I not spent a large chunk of change buying StormRaven front Hulls for the same purpose, I'd buy up a bunch of these as Arvus Lighter Proxies for a flyer heavy marine army.

The guns are nice, and cheaper than equivalents from the bits guys on Ebay, but those wall segments are... uninspiring.

Segments look good for concrete fortifications without extraneous rivets and skulls. Comes in about the same cost as the GW kit, so don't really see it doing great.

Yeah, I can see them selling to gamers who just hate the look of the GW version (although the ADL is one of the more restrained GW kits designwise), but otherwise this seems a diificult sell if it's around the same price, especially as resin is far less durable than plastic...

I finally got my 'Ikarus' hover-tank plus side guns and turret. Initial inspection of the clamshells: this stuff looks good! Far better than the first bits I got from them nearly a year ago.
