Ah I see.
That knight judicator is the guy with the two hounds right?
That’s a cool model.
Need lots of stuff I’d want to come up at once really. To make a bulk order on FP better. Automatically Appended Next Post: Going back to the final 5 issues debate.
I know sprue wise it’s a dragon apiece and then skumdrekk is three sprues.
But with the cost of those dragons each, it seems mad that they’d put it in two kits (it’s a £75 kit, so one issue is worth £37.50. Compared to Skumdrekk which is also £37.50 over three issues..)

Yeah, the cost is the reason why I think we'll see one or more of the issues devoted to the bases.
Saying that, it's possible that they will simply split it into two issues, they've had high-value issues before.

Quite possibly have a separate issue for the bases :( they did it with the Primaris floaty Land Raider in the Conquest mag and split it over 3 issues, 2 issues had the sprues and the last one had the base and flight stem. I didnt really collect the last 40k or AOS mag, so i dont know if they had any similar big sets and if so how they were spread out across the issues.

Yeah I’d have thought cost wise the three issue bundle would more likely be dragon, dragon, bases.
And the two issues would be 2 Sprue of the skumdrekk and then in the other one 1 Sprue and base.
It evens the cost better (though I’m reality for us, we’d still be looking at two issues for the dragons and forget the bases..

Why can't they just write out all of the issues at the start? It's not like things are going to change between the British and American runs.

37 and 38 have been listed at FP in the UK. Which is a little unusual, as they normally update on a monthly basis (4 issues at a time)

Issue 27 out today. Should be 6 gryph hounds but they have only put three in each issue, with six bases! All build instructions in the mag show it should be six.

Even the front cover says 6!
I just had to check Forbidden Planet as i have them on order and not yet been charged for them, their release dates are all now a week behind the official release date, seems to have gone skewiff after the fountain issue #25.

If I find some time soon I might update this previous post with the release dates because even I get confused as to when they come out.
But yeah. It should be "fun" seeing how they go on about fixing the mistake with Issue 27 because all of their marketing shows/mentions 6x Gryph-Hounds. Including the photo showing the whole collection.
You have the Knight Judicator with 2 gryph hounds and then you have 6 separate ones.

I haven't received mine yet since I'm on the subscription. It'll arrive at some point in the middle of next month.
Hence why I mentioned it'll be interesting to see how they solve this issue because if you buy it as a single issue they might have shift the blame onto the customer (even if it shouldn't be that way) but with a subscription you have to provide what they signed up for.
Is it a packaging issue and they just send out the sprue(s) with the extra 3 Hounds? Is it a production issue and they can't send out the rest of the items?
Will they give out this issue for free or maybe make a future issue free? We'll see...
Were there any problems like this with the previous 40k issues?

Hachette have posted on facebook that the missing gryph-hounds will be included in a future issue.
I'd assume they will stick them in with one of the paints only issues.

They have to provide whats on the cover/contents list to retail customers as well as subscribers, they cant opt for "retail buyers should have known what they were buying and as it wasnt complete they shouldnt have brought it, so they wont get the full contents" or something along those lines. As thats not how UK consumer law works, as a consumer we are entitled to the full contents as listed and shown on the cover/boxes/packaging of items.

I just dug that out as it was 2 weeks ago they commented on it and it was a comment to someone asking about the missing minis on the advertisment post for the Gryph issue, rather than a proper post on their page addressing the issue, That solution is fine for subscribers but not sure how that is going to work for retail customers, as by law we dont have to buy something else to get the missing contents from another item, its down to the company to supply it at their own cost!
I have just emailed Hachette to see what they have about it all.

They are a week behind Hachette with all issues, #28 was released today on FP if you had it pre-ordered, on Sunday i cancelled my #28 pre-order with them.

If you bought at retail you aren't a Hachette customer, you are a customer of the retailer you bought from. Hachette will likely tell you to return it to them for a refund.
They're not obliged to send the contents out to anyone. They can just offer a refund. Even for their own customers they have a freepost return address and are pretty generous with refunds if you decide to return something even if its just because you don't want it.

This is so.
And in this case the retailers will refund even open used magazines as long as it’s all there.
Whereas normally only unopened stuff would be returned..
