Hey, so I was wondering how people equipped their champs? I know some people like to put PF on zerker champs to blow tanks up and some don't cuz they want that 5 attacks on the charge to go first. I like PF on my nurgle champ for sure since he goes last against anything that's scary anyways. Any suggestions or food for thought?

Yeah if i use champs then PF. Now if you use a Greater Daemon then it is nice to have a few naked champs scattered around for different cheap choices to enter. Dont like Plasma pistols as there is to much of a chance to hurt himself. Melta bombs are the only other thing to use but really only as a points filler after i like the rest of the equipment on the rest of the army.

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!

That is... way too bloated. The Meltabomb so rarely be better than the Powerfist it isn't worth the points. The plasma pistol... eh. It really depends on what the squad is. CSM/Plaguers with Meltaguns might want it. Otherwise there are much better ways to spend 15 points.

a power fist should be sufficient.
As Darkhound said, the pts could be better spend elswhere.

I always equip a fist, even with a Greater Demon in my list - otherwise the squad just feels too wimpy in CC.

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.

Observations on complex unit wound allocation: If you're feeling screwed, your opponent is probably doing it right.

Plague marine Sgt: Power fist and Combi-whatever the squad special weapon is.

Noise Marines: Power weapon and maybe a doom siren.

Bezerkers: Either Power weapon and Melta bombs or power fist.

1000 Sons:Whatever Damn power you want.

Normal Chaos Marines: Combi-weapon and power fist, unless the Icon is of Slaneesh then Bolt pistol and Power weapon.

Never give anyone a Plasma pistol. 15 points is far too much for an average 1 shot per game, that might hurt/kill the wielder.
