How about treating each one as a ten-man squad of Space Marines? That way they'd be more survivable, could be used as allies to an IG force and would have the impact deserving of a Halo Spartan.

Effectively a Space Marine with ten wounds. Standard sniper-rifle, bolter or twin bolt pistols. Pay a reasonable points cost for them (the price of ten basic marines) and let them deploy at any point during a game using deep strike. I think that the rules for jump-packs may also be appropriate (seeing as the Spartans are so quick and can leap huge distances)...

I think Halos Spartans in 40k would be ideal for Stormtroopers.

If you include the green one in an IG army (as a character), you could pretend you're playing a halo wargame!

I wouldn't know how good a Spartan is because I have never played Halo or read any of the fluff...The only bits I've seen, show them running along like superheroes, kicking every-thing's butt...that is what I based my '10 marine' idea on.

I think they'd be better than a storm-trooper and at least on a par with a marine...?

I based the minis on what I'd seen of the action figures.

Spartans are better then humans but likely lesser to Astartes. I mean, Halo isn't that far in the future. The time gap and the methods used to make Astartes, as well as the various organs and abilities, should make them superior to Spartans by a long shot. Maybe not Master Chief who I think is a cyborg or something like that, but to a Spartan I should think so. In the games and the books Spartans aren't really that mind blowing, or so I have been told.

Rules wise the gap between Space Marine and Human is like 1 'stat point' on a few stats. The difference between human and Spartan in most regards would be instantly made void by the rules of 40k. In other game systems, like Inquisitor, Rouge Trader or Dark heresy, there would be a difference, but 40k is on a bigger scale so the stats are too simple to accurately represent human and Spartan differences properly. Which is why I suggest something like Storm Troopers, for example, that are better then normal troops and have special rules and weapons to represent the Spartan elite status.

I love the Red vs Blue game-toon. So I really like these guys. My only concern is: If Church gets the sniper rifle, why doesn't Sarge get his shotgun?

Thanks for all the comments, this has been a bit of an 'OUT THERE' thing for me as I don't know much about HALO apart from the fact that the action figures look cool. I saw the live action clip on you-tube as well and that was pretty awesome.
