There are several Miniature ranges that GW produced in the past but have now discontinued, which ones do you think should still be with us?

Off the top of my head, I would go for Chaos Dwarfs and Praetorian IG

The Squats... I would have played them instead of Eldar. I mean, come on! You know they would have some of the best tanks in current edition.

I'll second the Praetorians.

Praetorians were mainly a sideline. A one-off that proved popular enough for a production run.

They were simply the mordians with a headswap.

Chaos dwarfs and Squats,Chainsaw warriors,of course all of the Judge dredd stuff.

I would have loved a full Nippon Army for WHFB.

I also miss the odds and ends ranges they used to make for 40k, like the space pirates and so on.

Squats, one hundred and ten percent! I stopped playing 40k when i turned eighteen and discovered...well, other habits...then twelve years later I rediscovered it again and am loving it, but my beloved squats had all been gobbled up by the Tyranids!

I liked the idea that thier worlds had all been in the warpath, but surely that would have just been a great way to boost sales with a bunch of plastic kits for squats with names like, the battle for Squatonia, The Last Squat, and, Squat in the Sand!

After all, who doesnt like short, bearded, bikers?

Judge dredd stuff they had no option on.

The license expired. They made them because - like most gaming stuff at the time from other companies - GW had the license to make them in the UK.

License expires - you drop the line. No ands, ifs or buts. I did however manage to get a set of all of the different 2000AD minis they did at the time (the SD ones might come in handy for the SD rpg ...)

The metal venerable dreadnought. Not a model range, but I still liked it.

Old Goliaths, Orlocks, Ratskins and Scavvies.

I miss those models. I mean, I own most of them already, but there are a few that I didn't have.

All of the regiments of renown box sets from the late 80's, Life and Death Elementals, Judge Dredd Minis [and rthe RPG for that matter!] and Many of the no longer available Epic ranges + the Goblobber!

All the Dogs of War stuff of which now a mere handful remains as overpriced collectors stuff. Most of the supporting 54mm Inquisitor stuff. Yes GW, you still have the moulds so why can't you make some of it available to those that bought the game? Some of the Inquisitor figures were available for mere months before being discontinued.

why does everyone keep on saying that I've been discontinued?

on topic, not a range as such, but the old Space Marine Veteran Sergeants, like the one with the mace.

Also, I quite like the old Mordians as well.

Praetorians, I know people that want to collect them...

But as for Squats, let's give it a break... they're silly: Ultimately those that want them are just old-time players reminiscing, I doubt they'd sell

I honestly belive that if GW released a plastic Praetorian/Mordian kit,it would be a HUGE seller for the company.

Genestealer Hybrids- My first and favorite.

I'll put in a fifth vote for Praetorians.

How come nobody has said Gaunt's Ghosts, those dudes were cool as gak!

What the hell is gak, Gaunt's Ghost were alright, but I think GW should remake them, new sculpts would look really something else!

Those are gaunts ghosts, looking at them, they ain't bad, but a deluxe GW special event box set of new sculpts of them would be quite nice.

They used to sell squads of them in addition to the command squad, among them were female guardsmen *gasps*

Seconded.

GW started killing off Inquisitor as soon as they got the rights to make an lotr game. Plus there seems to be no sense in the Inquisitor models they have stopped. I find it hard to believe for example, that Kal Jericho (discontinued) was less popular than the demonhuntress (still available).

Dogs of War, of course.

Tho I sure wouldn't mind having the metal Cadians & Catachans available, too.
