I don't mind the faux muscle tone as a costume idea, but I dislike how it contrasts with the symbol and the mask. The mask just doesn't fit and the symbol looks like a sticker. Keep in mind they had to do something drastic to the original costume. It looks great in print, but tights never look good in real life or on the big screen. Some black contrast on the suit to keep it from just being a monolithic green nanosuit stolen from crysis would help greatly while keeping the silhouette known from the comics.

Overall.. yeah, I think it looks alright, I like the glowing veins, gives it a nice other worldly look.
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I think it's alright, and agree that the original suit would have looked goofy. GL is one of DC's least believable superheroes in a lot of ways (I don't just mean that his powers are unbelievable, more that they're so ill defined that they don't make much sense when used in a story. We're never sure exactly what the Rings can do, and they often use willpower as a deux ex machina, which is unsatisfying). I still like the stories, but I wonder how they'll translate to the big screen. DC take their franchises seriously these days, so I can imagine it might be fairly good. Not sold on the domino mask either though. It's a silly shape, or something.
We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

Is Renolds a comic book fan or something? Ive noticed him playing as comic book types a few times now. I want to like the guy, but sometimes he plays characters that make me hate him.
It should be decent at least though, they really have been nailing super hero movies as of late. Except for super man, seriously the ONLY part I like in that movie, is when the baddie shoots SuperMan in the face, and the bullet gets smashed my his eyeball. Other then that, total waste of time. Ack!

Perhaps live action DC is gonna make it so that GL and DP actually are one and the same, but they have a split personality and don't know the other exists, like some sort of Jeckyl and Hyde kinda thing going on.

I think the time for that has passed, although there were those GUy Ritchie rumours priro to Holmes.
Still, there's always

Anyway, why do you say that?

The few screen shots there look very very meh. Plus it has Tim Robbin in it. I really hate that guy, like indiana Jones hates snakes, and for similar reasons.

You fell into a train car filled with Tim Robbins?

Damn it, I wanted to say that.
As stupid as this sounds, the costume looks too, well... alien. I know, I know, it's made from a Alien Device and all, but this looks really weird, imo, though I have no idea how they could've pulled it off otherwise. Maybe Reynolds will form his own costume after a while. I mean, there has to be a reason why Guy Gardner is allowed to walk around in that stupid vest.
