What now defunct models do you yearn for?
I just splashed £20 for that slaaneshi champion with the snake tail, £12 for the marco colombus chap and keep eyeing the army deal ogre bruiser on ebay, waiting for the lump o metal to show up for less than £40-£50 quid...
Oh and I wish I had this:
Really want that tank... oh and a big collection of the diaz daemonettes that aren't recasts with faces like melted wax...
So
What do you crave from beyond the grave?

The list is endless! Especially as Rackham models are getting harder to get at a reasonable price.
GW - just got a couple I was after. Melkior on Nightmare ($17). Still trying to get the old two headed chaos dragon and the old zombie dragon. Want that woodelf dragon with the two sisters but not at that GW price.
Rackham - Ophidians, want more snake men!
|
2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games. |

"Bauhaus" was the "German" faction in the Mutant Chronicles/Warzone games. That tank was a resin monstrosity put out (unfortunately) when the original publisher of Warzone was in it's death spiral. It's really rare. They also made a Skull Walker thing for the "Dark Legion" faction or whatever they were.
I think that tank was actually called a "Grizzly".
Oh, as far as my picks, I guess anything from the Realm of Chaos line of stuff. Either bring them back or update them as parts for the current Chaos stuff.

Nope, he wouldn't be a happy. A heretical use of the word bauhaus if ever there was one.

Bauhaus was one of the factions in Warzone. They were your typical scifi, German ww1 throwback (Along the lines of the GW Death Korps of Krieg). In the Mutant Chronicles Universe Bauhaus had all the cool archaic tank stuff.
Good game system, awesome fluff and Universe, Heartbreaker hobbies screwed the pooch in the figure design and execution/marketing.

They blatently didn't look 'bauhaus' up before they used it. Unless it was irony.
The Bauhaus was a school of design in germany which was outlawed by the Nazis. Using it's name for wargames minatures with world war influence is fairly ironic.

Yes, that tank was the Bauhaus Grizzly.
Bauhaus was the Germanic Corporation faction in Warzone.
Capitol was the US corporate faction.
Imperial was the UK corporate faction.
Mishima was the Japanese corporate faction.
Then you had Cybertronic and a few others.
It was a future wars miniatures game that grew out of the 80s cyberpunk background that was popular then.

Oh and I wish I had this:
I love the old naming system that GW used, now everything seems to be in 'special weapon pack' but back then it was a nice descriptive name e.g. slaanesh champion with sword and extra arm ending in a crab-like claw!
I remember a long time ago some japanese company brought out a very similar tank in a plastic kit that came with a sprue full of anime-style anthropomorfic pigs as crew, someone posted it on here but I can't find the pics now, but I would love one of those!
EDIT: FOUND IT: http://www.themworkshop.com/mstudio/img_jt2009_aku_002.jpg

The new horrors are sort of a blend between the new tzeentch stuff and the old OLD horrors (back when the rules let pink horrors split into blue horrors on death), now THOSE are old metal horrors.

Diaznettes, obviously. I have 10 to last me. I'm using them for my beastmen army, so you can all scowl at me for chopping their legs and backsides off. If GW ever "found" their mold and started re-selling them I bet they'd make such a mint.
Old metal warhounds of chaos too.
I don't know their names, but I had plans to use some Rackham Wolfen as minotaurs before they turned upside-down.
