I'm not talking about the worst models you can take or the time a squad rolled super horribly, I'm talking about models, squads, even armies that are cursed with the same bad luck over and over.
For instance, my friend plays a deamonhunters army and has stopped using his assassin. Why? because when he rolls to hit he rolls a six, but when he rolls to wound he always get a 1! This has not happened in just one or two games, but has happened in ALL of the games that it has been used, whether he was rolling or not and whether he was the one playing or not (yes he even had someone else play his army in a match and still got the same result)
So, any one else suffer the fate of having "cursed" models? What about cursed die? I've heard about some scatter dice that only roll a dead on hit with everyone else but the owner.

The Dire Avenger squad in my Sunblitz Brotherhood army has horrible luck. They are on permanent coffee break. Useless in shooting, useless in assault. And they set a bad example for the Guardian squads, who perform horribly whenever the Dire Avengers are around.

Can't say I've had any problems, although, my 2 Assault Cannon Razorbacks pen armor 14 way more than my Lascannon Razorbacks do.
The was a guy that used to play at my store though. Ultramarines. He had one guy with a Lascannon, (can't remember if it was a Devastator or a Tactical) but he never, ever hit with it.

My entire Space Wolves army is cursed. Last game I played I had to take 6 armor saves on 6 Terminators. 4 failed. That same game it was pretty common for all my shots to miss, my plasma guns to overheat, and lord knows what other kinds of horrifying errors. Before that, I had two plasma gunners overheat and kill themselves on turn 1. The army has only won one or two games since their new codex came out, not because of tactics or lists, but because of my crap rolling. Weird thing is, I've been using the dice I use for my Guard and Orks, and they generally roll pretty hot.

a buddy of mine plays CSM, and his Nurgle worshiping, Terminator armor wearing lord is the prime example of futility...
first time i saw this thing in action, it only deepstruck on the mandatory turn, he's out of range of some BT on the table so he is just chillin there.. BTs close the gap enough on their turn (and shoot poorly enough to take him down to one wound) that on his subsequent turn he can move up into assault range.. assaults and kills himself with his daemon weapon
Next game, his terminator body guard gets wiped out by firewarrior shooting, and eventually he got killed in CC by those same firewarriors

My zoanthrope can be relied upon to consistently roll a 1 every time it tries to penetrate AV12.
When shooting at AV10 or 11 it will just roll perils or fail to hit.

I had a marine who overheated his plasmagun 5 times in the same game.
In another game, my friend and ally had a marine who missed 6 or 7 times with a single missile trooper (space marine).
He was firing at a rhino. because of his inability to hit / penetrate the rhino, beserkers took cover and became a major liability for our troops moving up. Luckily death company killed them before major damage was sustained.

My Ork Nobz never seem to do a lot, ending up just being a points sink.
I'm not going to be put off though. I've not used them for a few games but if I play my Orks this week I will be using a mob of Nobz all Dakka'd out with 'eavy armour, and a Painboy giving them Cybork Bodies. My mate does this with awesome results, but so far it's never worked for me.

My friend's Deamon Prince is cursed. Earlier today his DP scored 4 hits on my squad of ork boys and only needed a 2+ to wound, he rolled three 1's. Not only that but he went down in 2 turns of combat after failing 2 armor and 2 invulnurable saves.

My AOBR Dreadnought. Basically it's exactly the same as gazelle's above mentioned Dire Avengers.
It stares down death, but doesn't fight back at all. Can't hit anything with it's ranged weapons; even in Melta range. Get it close combat, every hit misses. First round it always dies.
Where as my normal 5 year old Dread runs up with it's Heavy Flamer and Assault Cannon and rips it's target apart before bashing them into the ground, drawing most of the enemy fire. The AOBR one is actually ignored then in some games it has even been killed accidentally (Monolith shoots at some marines nearby, scatters, Dread falls apart). >_>
For it's uselessness it has been ripped apart and now waiting for a decent model that can use a wrecked Dreadnought on it's base
But I play Eldar now and so far nothing in the army has let me down (some like Yriel have literally walked through the enemy army (Gunline, mech IG, walking through Leman Russes)) except the Swooping Hawks, but they're not in the army.

I swear the Departmento Munitorum issues my Guardsmen blank lasgun charge packs.....E.g. Playing against Space Wolves..... (Edited for math/memory fail): 3 squads of Guardsmen in double tap range. One with fire by ranks. 8 lasguns per squad so....56 lasgun shots at the Wolves of Fenris.
Space Wolves take no casualties.
I swear, my bad luck with dice has followed me from when I played Axis & Allies (the board game, not the miniature one). Going a bit OT...there, I had a German battleship and destroyer charge a single British destroyer in the Med. I lost my entire fleet, and didn't even sink the destroyer. =SIGH=

Haha. I remember that game.
You know, now that I think about it, the one unit I have that seems to have below-average luck is my Long Fangs squad. I can put all 5 missiles on one target and be lucky if I get one hit.

Additionally, I remember a game a few days ago against Blood Angels....the poor guy. Any model he had with a melta weapon of any kind seemed to have been cursed with selective amnesia on the 'aiming' part of firing it. Even when deep striking Dante and a squad of Assault Marines right behind my Leman Russ's....all of their melta shots missed, and they were promptly wiped out next turn by a pair of Banewolves pouring toxic death onto them.
Still...he had good luck against my Manticore. Btw, that's another unlucky model for me. My Manticore...half the games I put it in, it has gotten popped first turn.

My lootas (15). Last tournament they had like... 14 opportunities to shoot. Rolled a 1 for number of shots every single time save one, when they rolled a 2. then of course only 3 or 4 hit each turn. What a terrible waste of points and an elite slot.
I keep trying them as everyone loves them... and they suck rocks every time.

I have two hammerheads, of which I have fielded at least 1 in my last four games. They always roll either 1 to hit or 1 to pen. In four games, they have killed: 1 vindicator (rolled a 1 to glance side armor, then a six to destroy), 5 ork boyz... that's it. I went one game without even getting a hit, and in a second I got one hit... and proceeded to roll a one against armor 12. At least twice one of them has died on the first turn.

My buddy's entire Grey Knights army is cursed in various ways. Let's see:
Land Raider vs. Rhinos: almost always unfailingly rolls a 1 to pen against AV 11, or 2 2s in a row to hit it.
Expensive units that get low armor saves can't ever make them. My Thunderwolves assault his Terminators...he fails 2 invul saves and a single armor save, then fails two Fearless wounds on a 2+. Same goes for his Justicars, who despite carefully avoiding the need to take armor saves, always fail them when they do.
Multi-melta on the Raider. Every other weapon is TL and hits on the first try, the Multi-melta never does.
Units with high strength weapons: almost guaranteed to roll 1s and 2s to hit or wound.
The only cursed model I ever had was when I still used my Land Raider Redeemer. In spite of AV14, it never once made it through a game without being wrecked in some way.
