So, I will try to keep a blog as my 'new start' of my BT's will begin. Don't expect more then one update a week/2weeks, as I'm very busy and a slow painter/modeller.
Anyways, here a few pics of the new FW marines that have arrived. This will be the squad where the EC will enter play with, so a squad with a powersword. Currently Marine nr3 is selected to have his sword become a powersword, I will probably remove the 'powernodes' on the other swords (as it will look silly when painted in metal).
I'm planning to do the filling one of these days, and fill them up with bits and stuff.

Not big of a intro as a blog, but enjoy anyway!

why?

the only difference (basically) between a sword and a powersword is the energyfield.

Thanks for the replies guys. These FW marines won't be ready for painting for a while though, as I'm waiting for some of the new FW bits to complete them.

I'm going for a 'normal' force, aiming for GT's. So about 1700pts. Though I will probably break the 2k since we all want options in our list right? :p

Well, I want them to be 'swords', not a 'powersword'. I've already shaved off the nodes on a sword, I guess it will look a tad better this way then with the nodes still on it.

So, I'm currently finishing my Speeder (first finished vehicle in the force), currently doing the weathering, or atleast trying (first time). I hope I can finish it one of these days as I'm really busy with the internship I'm doing at a psychiatric hospital at the moment..

I'm working on an article on painting a BT. Might still take a while though as I'm very busy.

Anyways, I've been very busy last few days/week and I haven't had the time I'd like to have for painting. So painting has been kind of slow, but still an update!
