Alright, so this i smy 1st bat. rep. so sorry about the not so good pictures, hopefully you guys can still follow whats goin on w/out a problem. (and if any rules dont seem like they were played right feel free to tell me so) Pics are at the bottom.

Ork Turn 1:
-Movement-
Mobs A and B run towards my line, with Mob B making it into a crater.
The kanz advance next tot the boyz, and the boss(due to slow and purposefull) moves a whopping one in.
IG turn 1:
-Movement-
nothing
-Shooting-
Commander orders 1st rank, 2nd rank fire.
Squads B and C shoot at the boyz in the crater and kill 4 boyz.
Squad A shoots at the exposed mob and kills 3.

Orks Turn 2:
-Movement-
Mob in the crater stays put.
Kanz and the other mob move up some more.
-Shooting-
Rokkit Launcha Kan shoots at squad C and kills the sgt.
IG turn 2:
Roll for reserves and get nothing
-Movement-
nothing
-Shooting-
First rank second rank fire order again.
Squads B and C shoot at mob B in the crater and kill another 4 boyz.
Squad A shoots at mob A and likewise kills 4 boyz.

Orks Turn 3:
-Movement-
Kanz move up
Mob A gets to a crater
Mob B leaves cover.
The boss legs it a HUGE 6 in.!!!
-Shooting-
Mob A shoots at IG squad A, and kills the sgt.
Mob B shoots at Squad C and kill 1.
Boss shoots at A and kills 1.
Rokkit launcha Kan shoots at C and kills 1.
Turn 3 IG:
Call for reserves and 2 sents come in on the left.
-movement-
nothing
-Shooting-
Squad B shoots at mob B and kills 3, they take/pass morale check.
Squad C shoots at mob B and kills 3, they take/fail morale check, and fall back.
squad A shoots at mob A and kills 1.
Both the sents shoot at the grotzooka kan, destroying its gun, and stunning it.

Ork Turn 4 :
-Movement-
Mob B fixes its morale problem, and then both B and mob A move towards my line.
-Shooting-
Boss shoots at squad B, and kills one.
Big shoota kan shoots at Squad C killing one.
Wagh is called somewhere along the line.
-Assault-
Mob A assaults Squad A and kills 4, loses 1 and wipes them out in a sweeping advance.... The mob consoldates 3 in. back the way they came.
IG turn 4:
Final sent comes in on the right.
-Movement-
Nothing
-Shooting-
1st rank fire 2nd rank fire is ordered
Squad B and command squad shoot at mob A and wipe them out in a spectacular display of flashlight power.
Squad C shoots at Mob B and wipes them out as well.
Both sents on theleft shoot at the Grotzooka kan and cause "immobilized"
The sent on the right shoots at the Rokkut launcha kan and misses.

Turn 5 orks
-Movement-
Boss moves 1 in.
big Shoota Kan moves towards my lines again.
-Shooting-
Big Shoota Kan shoots at squad C and kills 2.
Boss shoots at one of the sents on the left and ...WRECKS IT?!?!
-Assault-
Rokkit Launcha Kan asaults the sent in the upper left and causes "shaken"
Turn 5 IG:
-Movement-
Command Squad puts its game face on and moves 6 in. towards the Big Shoota kan.
Sent in the upper left back peddles away from the kan.
-Shooting-
Squads B and C shoot krak grenades at the big shoota kan and cause "stunned"
Both remaining sents shoot at the kan in the upper left and miss.

We decide to do turn 6

Ork Turn 6:
-Movement-
Boss moves 1 in.
-Shooting-
Boss shoots at the sent on the left and while he does manage to hit several birds flying overhead he doesnt hit the sent.
-Assault-
Rokkit Kan attacks the nearest sent and does nothing.
IG turn 6:
-Movement-
Command squad moves 6 in. towards the Big Shoota kan.
Squads B and C move up 6 in. as well.
Sent in upper right moves away from the kan.
-Shooting-
Command squad makes the Big Shoota kan go boom, which causes my opponent to go pout.
Squads B and C shoots krak grenades at the zooka kan and do nothing...incompetant...
The Sent in the upper left shoots at the kan thats all up in his grill and destroys its rokkit launcha arm.

The game ends.

I believe i did the kill points correctly...so yea GO IG!!!
p.s. Hoping to get better at making bat reps through practice, so even if you thought this one sucked ....EXPECT MORE! BWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Good list I love playing IG in low points, 800 and under, and high point, 1850+, though i don't really like running them in between those points for some reason i cannot make a good list for it.

4/5 time it works for me against whatever i go against, what with 3 heavy tanks, and 5 sents. as well as over 60 infantry. I used to have a vendetta that teamed w/ the the vet squad that has the power sword and the priest, they were suicide jumpers to take out the heavy stuff(eviscerators fun for that lol)

Congrats on the win and a big for using sentinels.

Lascannons seem a bit like overkill though I'd have gone with AC seeing that your outflanking.

If you hadn't planned on moving why didn't you take any HWT in the vet squads?

The Warboss should have probably started at least on the deployment line - though probably better without Mega Armour and in a boyz mob.

I can't believe he only moved 1" three times! I assume you weren't making use of his Independent Character status - which gives him the Move Through Cover rule - ie roll 3 dice and pick highest. Though even played without, 3 lots of double ones, while possible, is highly improbable.

He was running as well right? (And he should have been, rather than shooting, until he got into assault range of something...)

@spankhammer, well...were both still pretty new, and as a result have trouble with some of the rules which should answer Arakasi's question as well =), we used to make it up as we went, but are now make big efforts to play by the book (the very heavy and expensive book). O, and @arakasi no he was just shooting w/ the boss, idk why he just was.
-something im not clear on, if he shot at me, hits, wounds, and i fail my saving throw who picks the casualty, me right?

That cool, man when I started me and friend played with the book open an checked everything. makes the game slow to start with but it's a good way to learn. Later on everytime an issue came up we would roll off and write it down to check afterwards.

Dude you pick who dies. Well technically you allocate wounds so he would have to cause 10 wounds to put one on everyone and then you role for saves. With guard always put them on lasgunners its what they are there for.

Not trying to be rude but just wanted to let you know that a squad only takes a morale check after all your squads are done shooting at them so they should have only needed to make 1 morale check for that round of shooting.
