I finally got round to painting my AOBR warboss - 9 months on and I've nearly finished all the Orks! But I'm pretty dam' pleased with him; what do you think? C&C appreciated...

Wow... very bright. The only thing I can really say is that it would be a lot better with holes driled in the barrells of his shoota.

He's looking really good. I'd suggest drilling the gun barrels, or at least adding a dot of black paint.

I know, I keep meaning to get a drill so I can sort out all my barrels, but I keep forgetting... I think the photo makes it look brighter than it is in the flesh... or plastic. I just noticed his loin cloth thingy is more obviously highlighted on the model, and is considerably darker.

Thanks for the feedback though, keep it coming

Wow, very nice job. Just like everyone else suggested you should drill holes in the barrel of the gun. But other wise everything else is very well done.

Very bright, nicely done! But, like the others said: drill out the barrel!

Meercat: "All eyes turned to the horizon and beheld, in lonely and menacing grandeur, the silhouette of a single Grot robot chicken; a portent of evil days to come."

it was painted very well. i would sugggest to do something more with the base. Bases will make or break your model.

Thanks for the positive comments! Always nice to know your work's appreciated!

@ moviemonkeyinc I have painted the base, added grass and tidied up the edge, but haven't photographed it since... but you're right, it's amazing the difference a good base makes...

i'm glad you've dont that. i've judged many painting competitions and it seems that many people spend hours of time on the models but don't worry about the base.
