HAHA! I use the dining table too! of course, I have to clean it completely off every night! Puts a damper on "quick" jobs! Besides, if I leave stuff out on the table the cat will knock it off on the floor, and sometimes will hide things under the couch....so it's just easier to put everything away.

Fight for your space! Even if it's an inch at a time!

Someday we'll have a bigger house, and my very own room for crafts and hobbies! *sigh*

Sorry guys for being slow on the updates, I have not done any work these past weeks, because of holidays, and a trip to hospital that was not planned

Thanks everyone for your comments

Was this a modeling mishap?

Looking forward to seeing whatever you do next.

Wow. I can't believe I only just found this thread. I love your work man; the Dreadnought's look great, so much different from the usual!
I can't decide whether my favourite is the Nurgle Dread or the Slaanesh one...
Your painting's as good as the converting too, particularly the weathering on the TS Dreadnought; beautiful. Well, beautiful painting, this is Chaos...

My one qualm would be that I think the Khornate Dreadnought would look so much better with a Juggernaut/Bloodcrusher head, rather than it's current. Otherwise, stellar work. Keep it up!

Enlist as a virtual Ultramarine! Click here for my Chaos Gate (PC) thread.

"It is the great irony of the Legiones Astartes: engineered to kill to achieve a victory of peace that they can then be no part of."
- Roboute Guilliman

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."

@JoeyHeadwounds - I'm still alive so, yey!! thanks, I seem to be ok

@skalk - I am surprised that I have not been to hospital because of a modeling mishap, what with all this choping up of stuff

@just dave - Thanks for the praise man, chaos dreads are so much fun to convert, I love it , Maybe the next dread I start will have the juggernaut head, I did buy a few with that in mind, but can't remember why I didn't do it.

Sorry to everyone waiting to see some finished jobs, I just have not got round to it. Although I started painting my nurgle, and was happy with the moss effect I was getting on the arm, I am not confident enough to do all the detailing, especially the face. So I need more practice with painting to finish that one. I am confident that I can do a metal look, so Iron Warriors is next to be done.

And today I got down to some battle damage, and some horns to cover up some gaps were the termie body is stuck on. The horns are from the new Storm of magic chaos sorcerer lord. I didn't buy him just for the horns I bought him to enter this compo http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/378516.page so they were just laying there on the table and I think they fit nicely.

How many Dreadnoughts do you have total now?

That is quite possibly one of the coolest dreads I have seen in a long time! Great use of bits and the bullet holes in the armour are a great touch. I really like the fact that it's not over the top and covered in spikes like a porcupine on steroids

I'm going for a really dark look on the Iron warrior. The heads gona stay black, right breast plate will have hazard stripes, trimmings will be gold, and SM armour will be yellow as they are parts from the IF.

I've tried adding to much paint on the left plate, which has started to make a nice weathered look. It looks like rust is building up in places.

That is going to look amazing painted the way you described! Are you going to keep the legs pretty standard or are they going to get the kitbash treatment as well?
