The gif is an execution of a nob.

Looks like mouse/kb is a challenge for the melee, but I guess it would be better for shooting.

You could always do a drawn version of it for your avatar.

It's a bit smaller than the max avatar size inorder to fit it under the 100k limit... Just click on it and it'll show the animations.

Mind if I share taht with the people on the space marine forum?

The execution is of a nob, notice how gigantic his body is when it drops to the floor.

The Shuma on Relicnews is awesome.

Melissia is Lady Commissar on SM Forums.

I hate bans.

Sure, feel free. I'm on the forums there but mainly a lurker so I don't know what requirements they have for avatars. I know dakka's was 120x120 max resolution with 100k max file size so I tweaked it to fit those parameters.

Space Marine has already been modded ,and only the demo's out.

The modding community is clasping its hands with glee.

Work's every god damn time...

As for the mod, really don't see the point since it won't change the story to suddenly feature said chapter.

In your base, ignoring your logic.

Mods rarely change the story, just make its illustrations look different.

It's possible if they can find out how to change the voicework.

Yeah... I'm not buying a game to mod a game so completely (and probably reduce the quality) for just one detail.

But anyway, well made mod, and to those who like to use it, fair game

It was sort of a joke, although I won't complain if I see a skin for them they are the most badass chapter after all.

Or mod them yourself.. I think the color scheme could work in Space Marine.

Indubitably, that could be molded onto a Space Marine's armor.

Same, it did make you feel like a bad ass, but the controls are wonky on a M+KB. Needs a controller.

I thought the controls were fine with keyboard/mouse, no problems at all.

As did I, after I remapped stun to mouse4 (thumb button).

And damn, does this game run smoothely! It looks better than games like BFBC2 or CoD:BO but runs so much better than either.

I did the exact same thing.

As for performance, yeah it's pretty good most of the time, a few dips here and there though which shouldn't be happening. I ran some benchmarks on the jump pack level and here are the results:

Without vSync:

Min, Max, Avg
44, 129, 92.562

With vSync:

Min, Max, Avg
32, 61, 59.661

I didn't say there was anything wrong with mouse/kb, I just am sure I will prefer it with a controller; and in front of my tv.

Heh, my monitor IS my TV, so that's not an issue for me. any game I play on a console I play on the same screen anyway.
