Are you going to do the guards-women the same size as the commissar or a bit smaller to fit in with the GW plastics?

I want to do the guards-women like the regular IG troopers, samller than the commissar, and in multiple separate pieces that you put together, (Torsos, legs, arms...) heads I'll get from Hasslefree, and weapons...either GW, or MaxMini, or make my own.

However, I hear that Chapterhouse may be coming out some very promising female figues. And if they look good enough, I'll most likely just use them. The problem is, most of the female conversion bits I've seen are just not what I am looking for.

Even if CH's females look good, I may get some, but still do my own, you know, so they are my own, I would like to be able to make molds and cast them in resin (I will most likely farm that out, as I have never done it and don't need to start ANOTHER hobby). But this is getting ahead of myself anyway. I have many projects to do before then.

So far from the looks of the WIP pics, they are looking pretty good, but still not exactly what I am looking for. I am looking to make mine look similar to US Army BDU's from the 1990's era (when I was in the Army). They just had a more rugged feel to them. I don't like the modern military uniform. Not sure if I want to make them with body armor. Either way would look good I think.

You know, when I first started lurking this thread I wasn't a very big fan of your work. To be honest, I came here to get a few lols at the oversized boobs and butt. I thought it all looked a bit silly.
But now I see this awesomely painted and very nicely sculpted model you have there and I have to apologiser for giggling at your earlier attempts.
I think she looks amazing. Honestly, I am impressed with the progress you have made.

Yeah, the first faces I tried left something to be desired. I'll still practice on making faces, but until I can do it resonably well, I'll buy them! LOL.

So, I'm just about done. I would be done...I think, but when I took the pictures, I could see just how Whore-ish the lipstick looked. It's hard to see it in RL, but I'll fix it none the less.

Also, I didn't do anything to the hair, I figured it looked decent, and I didn't want to mess it up.

Great work man... I have started doing some sculpting myself and I must say that it is an inspiration to keep going when I see where yours came from and where it ended up! The first stages of fleshing things out can be frustrating because it looks nothing like what you want it too. Again great job, she looks amazing!

Thanks everyone! I am happy with how she has turned out. She could have been done better, but probably not by me.

As for the birth mark, it wasn't intentional, and I might have painted over it to correct the sloppy lipstick.

And Vik, no there is no Ilsa in my life I just like the name!

Any way, I corrected the lipstick, but I didn't change anything else, so I'll just post the frontal shot, and you can zoom in if you click on it if you want to.

This will be my last post on this Commisar. (aside from responding to comments of course.)

However....I will be starting 2 more Female Commissars soon!

That's right! Someone liked my work so much they commissioned me to make 2 more just for them!

I will be sculpting these Commissars at the same time as I work on making my female military personnel. I'll need something to work on while GS dries after all!

I will most likely start a new blog, just so people won't have to read through all this stuff. But I will post a link to it here when I get it up and running. It will be a bit before I start the blog though, as I don't want to just show paperclips again. At least not without showing some progress too.

For these commissioned Commissars, I will be getting my primary feedback from the person who has commissioned me, but I will most likely listen to feedback from you guys too.

Also, with my female military personnel, I want to do them in sections, so you can assemble them in different poses. I will be making the legs, torsos and arms. I figure the heads and weapons have already been done well, and I don't need to focus on those. When they are done, I will have someone make molds and cast them in resin. Wether or not, I sell them will be a question for later on.

Well, thanks for listening to me rant. Right now I have to work on my cyber-grot!

All i can say, RSJake, is this: from the beginning, you improve her a lot and at hte end the work is pretty good. hope you gonna realize more stuff like this!
