Thanks guys much appreciated.

Thankfully the cemeteries of Morr are brimming with willing volunteers.

That is actually a great idea for spearmen. I haven't got any in my army, but rest assured the movement trays will hopefully be brimming with such things.

Actually the spears are pretty easy, i am sure you find willing chaos players to lend you some of their garden fences that are literally everywhere

Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"

Crack on mate. I made a little push mould to get all numbers I need.

Thanks, I'm a big fan of my Giants. Which is why I have so many. Hopefully I'll get a few more painted up.

I've started making a bit more progress on the swamp monster army. There's going to be two different sized Fen beasts. Those on the original 40mm bases and 6 on 50mm square bases.

Hope you enjoy the fenbests.

Nice use of hot glue, I like how it looks all painted up. Properly mucky. Really enjoying seeing your undead hoard continue to grow.

Thanks, I really do not like using the hot glue gun. I'm not very controlled in it's use. But it's giving my the desired effect thankfully! I think once this latest portion is complete it'll be the end of the undead horde, certainly for the foreseeable at least!

Thanks they're very much a creation of love. Completed 5 as of this evening and I've got another 21 more to do. Nothing like making large projects.

I agree, there's something very satisfying about finishing a large project, and it looks so good when it's large.

Thanks I've really enjoyed painting them, it's quite the chore. But comments like that make it worthwhile.

Ha you're allowed to finish projects? I thought they just get constantly expanded upon?

Bit more work on the swamp army. I took a cast of a stick to use as trees on bases. I hope it's worked ok.

It is definitely working for me! I like the mix of different basing material, looks good and marshy. Love the beat-up sword stuck out of the tree and that flopping pink tongue.

Heh heh, good point. Maybe I meant theoretically it would feel good to finish a large project
Or at least finishing major milestones where it could be considered finished until you decide to add more.

That really is great basing, swamp basing is hard to pull off that mix of wet mud and vegetation but you did it well!

@Syro, going to make a list and check models off and reward myself with the ability to spend models on new models. This'll hopefully help my not being able to finish things.

Thanks I'm pretty happy with how it's going. Though I may add some water texture on the mud to make it a bit more moist/ wet.

I've nearly finished these two Fenhulks now. I am very happy with how these models have come together.

A great pair of Fenhulks, with their bases so large it looks like they’re part of a diorama. Especially with how the foliage matches up! Excellent work on the bases, the mud certainly reads as wet, what did you use?

Hope you have a good Christmas !

Thanks I'm really stepping out of my comfort zone with this army and I'm really digging it.

Thanks I didn't even think about that, but you're right side by side with the Truthsayer in the middle. Definitely diorama vibes.

I used Vallejo russian thick mud. It dries matt, but I am going to add some water effect over the top. So it definitely will look wet and not just be photography wizardry.

The past two days I've been a powerhouse of converting. Made a unit of 9 Albion Giants but I'm waiting on some heads which I got from a Facebook group.

Today I also received some celts models from warlord games which I've made a start on. These will be getting added to all the big monster bases.

I hope you like them as much as I do.

Thanks for all the kind words about the goblin hewer. It is a very fun model and showed some of the wackyness that 6th edition had in it.

It would seem I have not showed this BLOG the love it deserves. To be honest I haven't done much painting. I've very much had a lul in motivation to any painting recently.

I am hoping to change this! I purchased a toad dragon off eBay and I've put some paint to a few other things this evening.
