Wow, this terrain and your stormtroopers look great! At first I thought the guy in the trench coat was going to be just a cluster of servo skulls in a jacket. I'm almost sad there's actually somebody wearing that coat, lol.

I'm currently unhappy with the dude INSIDE THE CLOAK and you may have given me an idea. Maybe if he gets killed in the campaign he becomes an inspector gadget of sorts and mostly is mechancius skulls in a cloak!

Wow! They look great stalking about your new terrain. The digital camo style looks cool, but the use of green as a tertiary on the chest and forearms seems off given the camo is grey. I suppose lots of Armies the world over use whatever couloir armour they have so why not the imperial guard in the 41st millennium

Thanks! It's more dot camo than digital but it was easier than expected. I could add more black chest armor later on for other units. I was specifically going for this style:

I love the mix match of camo. Whenever I saw it worn properly 'in country' it was always a random mix - so I think it is a great look for a bit of mix and match with the kevlar v camo colours

And they look fab in the scenery.

Thanks! Yeah I have two veteran squads to paint, some Reaper minis as Ogryrns, and 10~ or so INQ characters. I collected 3 Chimeras as well and a Valk for transporting these fellows

I thin I can manage painting a building every 1-2 days painting so I'll chug along for another week or two

Next weekend I have a 24 hour challenge with a youtuber. Should be fun

All of that is awesome, I really like how you've gone for an overgrown styling rather than just a grey blasted landscape.

I'm actually going for the same scheme as my Dropzone Board at this point. They grey + green of Stalker / Shadow of Chernobyl is what I'm going for. I'll have less greens on the flat boards. The graffiti will be wild to make it POP

Yeah I never much liked grey ash/fallen building cities (and I've built one of those already)

Alright walls and tower next! I'll rarely use these for more than a backdrop but they all slot in and can have a few layouts + the ruined wall

Thanks! I just painted the metallics and I'm doing more freehand today and then washes tomorrow and flocking/foliage Wednesday/finished.

Such an awesome terrain set mate. So much love and patience going into that! Definitely paying off and bet it does/will feel great to play on it.

Great stuff, beautiful lens work on those storm troopers, and the chipping is fantastic on the stonework.

I do have a quick single mini to paint this weekend (Darius the Blue from Reaper Minis) but I just need to focus on the table. Then it's INQ + CSM + Traitor Guard right out of the gate

I'm finishing off the graffiti walls I stopped halfway through right now. Should be a few hours only to finish those.

Actually yeah

I'd like to make more of those later on but they look much more sturdy than the walls. These thin walls were supposed to be more of a star ship troopers sort of temporary concrete wall and not super thick.
