ooh I love inquisitor. aside from my eisenhorn conversion, I have 2 original metal krieger thrax (which are like rocking horse excrement nowadays) unfortunately both are unassembled and unpainted currently. I also have cherubael and barbaretta unpainted, although these are slightly naughty resin versions...

I think this is one of the first citadel miniatures I ever owned, it's certainly one of the only ones to be still with me after 30+ years. It was badly chipped and most of the paint had been worn away so last year I stripped and repainted in the same colour scheme I did when I was about 13. The shield was long gone, so I made him a double bad ass with a demon weapon. He deserves it.

Love this thread! I love seeing old models. Got a few OOP Guard tanks in the works. Currently working on an old school hyrda.

Here's a nice little photo shoot of my destroyer I took in the garden last summer. I have just realised that the Cadian shotgun bodies have been discontinued too. So there's two in one pic.

Correct me if i'm wrong here, but is that guy in the cupola an OOP tank-commander/commissar?

An older picture of the core of my Kislev army. Modernized horsesm and Tzarina only has the crown and sword left of the original model, but otherwise lots of 90s metal

That Kislev army is really amazing. Love the attention to detail on the bases as well.

@Juxtimon, that is an excellent display piece. Love that model, love that he's got a target for the smashing.

Thanks for sharing the retro tanks, everyone. I am not much of a tread head but it's cool to see that there have been some pretty intense changes in their aesthetic through time.

Speaking of 90s metal, here's a before/after shot for a Necromunda deacon, first painted twelve or thirteen years ago and repainted yesterday (or I should say, finished yesterday - about three days of work, I think).

Digging around in the Pile of Shame for 3 more terminators to fill out a squad. Here are the guys that get to go back into hibernation, their eternal slumber interrupted briefly.

Might drag the inquisitors out for some paint. We’ll see how 9th treats them rules wise. Or if one of the monthly painting chalenges would fit them.

These guys will get a coat of blue paint and join the fight. Just a little late to the party...

Whoa, nellie. Those SC models are choice. Titans as Dreads looks like it works well.

Damn, I've been trying to get my hands on those guys for a reasonable price since I found out about them! They even better in your photos than the small or grainy pics I usually see.

They’re really cool, especially the baby servitors that looks like he attaches to the tech priest he’s with! Will they be making an appearance with paint?

I was very lucky to get a full set of those for a very competitive price from a fellow Dakkanaut a few years ago.

It might be my fav Ltd. Ed. 40K mini (or set of minis) that I own. A number of things from this group formed the inspiration for a few items in The Lathe Worlds book.

I'm currently working on the exact same model. I can concur, getting the barrels straight is a pain in the . Also, the massive gaps at the back of the hull require a LOT of greenstuffing. Good job! I hope mine turns out as nice as yours!

Some old Deathwing Terminators looking to join the classic Terminator soiree. I should get a pic of my old GK squad and the guys from RTB09 at some point, too.

Edit: here they are. I have two more of the alt GK's, one painted, one unassembled and missing his halberd, but that can be dealt with should the need arise.

Like I have said elsewhere basically everything I own is OOP.

I haven't seen these guys represented yet. They are currently in my maybe re-do pile. They were the first models I got to what I considered a good standard, back in the dark ages. I didn't even highlight their armour, it was before hard highlights were popular.

Don't count the special weapons. I forgot about thr flamer and had a spare old school plasma from a Genestealer hybrid. Have to look for him I know he was around recently.

Thanks. It is pretty cool. I had to modify it from a 2nd Ed over-the-shoulder stance. That always struck me as silly, but I wanted to keep the skeleton on top so couldn't just slap a more modern one on. Turned out ok IMHO. Kinda hard to reload but what can you do? :p

I painted this back in 2003. Even at that time he was outdated. I believe he belongs to the 1993 era of Space Marine sculpts.
He was apart of a 5-man squad, but I've lost/thrown-out/stripped any other models from my older days. I keep him around because he was my first paint job.

I'm actually finishing an old Inquisitor Terminator right now - I'll be sure to post the results here when its done.

Being a big fan of OOP 40k models, its nice to see the work posted in this thread. Good stuff here.
