How do you trick someone into buying an army?

My advice is to man up, play the army in the way it was intended, win some battles and have some fun.

Hmm maybe you could play with the army, spend some time learning how the army works then enjoy the satisfaction when you do beat one of the most powerful armies with a lower tier army.

If you dont like them, put them on swap shop, they are fun to paint, and if your good at painting you can (maybe) make a little more.

Do the honorable thing. Give the Tau to a proper army recycling center. There is one near my house; PM me and I"ll give you its address. You can't just sent GW plastic to any recycling plant, only specialty ones work. Do the right thing, and go green.

Paint everything purple. The helmet, the guns, the feet, the flesh. Everything.
Then melt it down and re-mold it into a large plastic hammer.
Find your brother and threaten him with said hammer until he relents and gives you his shiny new SW army. Then smash it all up with your Tau hammer.
That gentlemen is how to beat SW with Tau.
If that doesn't work ask yourself "What Would Creed Do?"

how much did you pay for how many points? how did he trick you? were they badly painted? badly built? less than the money's worth?

Touch up or repaint them and sell the on Ebay for 150% cost. Use the money to buy yourself a new army and make it your life’s work to crush your brother every time you play.

Sit back and think about what you did.

Learn from your mistakes. If you can get taken for a ride on a Tau army and get this worked up, then youre going to have a very dissapointing life.
