I found myself with a Stormlord that I purchased a while ago and a nice amount of free time before school started again. I wanted a nice apocalypse piece for my sisters army. So I went with converting, and this is what I'm at! This is my first attempt at converting something! Most work I've put into a piece as of now. Unfortunately I didn't get a good picture of the overall tank, due to limitations in where I took the picture

Edit: All Photos are in my gallery as well

Without much ado:

The "Fear and Loathing"

It's main gun is my Inferno Cannon, not sure which incarnation of the rules it will use, but I like it! I think it will look much better when primed and painted

Good View of the side guns, but please note: This photo is an error, the turret should be farther back, it was too close in this picture!

I really like the driver, an extra Cannonness I had sitting around

Better view of the side-gun turrets

Twin-linked Heavy Flamer on top, Twin-linked Multi-Melta on the bottom, both from my immolator kits!

I replaced the heavy Stubbers on the back with SoB Stormbolters, which I always loved. It's slightly off in this picture, but it's because they aren't glued down yet!

Other view of previous picture

The gun turrets pulled off, I like them, but don't know what to do with the big empty white space. Maybe Rivets?

Ditto to above

Front of Tank without the Inferno Cannon in. Yup, that's the Heavy Bolter from the immolator kit!

Well thats where I am at this point. Any feedback would be very appreciated. I still need to stat the thing, so any suggestions would be awesome as well! Thanks everyone!

This thing looks like a monster... all that fiery/melty death. I think rivets are in order on the turrets, but also think about insignias or images of faith.

On a side note, would you mind posting an army pic? I'm not sure I can say I've seen a SoB army that had enough points for an Apocalypse game.

Great work on your first conversion.

Thanks! But what do you mean Insignias or images of faith? Not sure what you mean exactly

also, my apoc army is almost entirely unpainted and scattered atm. But when it's together, I will throw an image up........someday

Remarkable work, that thing combines all the best elements of Imperial Guard and Sisters of Battle aesthetics.

Do you have a point cost in mind for this beast? Seems like it could really raise hell on the game table!

*drool* simply amazing work! I'd say if you're using the warhound's inferno gun rules 600 to 700. Now if it has limited ammo for that monster (ie the new malcor/marcharious) then between 450 and 550 points. Just my two cents though

Nice job indeed!!!

You should really remove the mould lines before going to painting, it would really spoil the awesome work if you didn't... Good luck!

I really like it! But the blurry pictures are kind of off-putting. Otherwise, like it.

Funny you mention that, I picked up a dried mud pot from Forgeworld for that exact reason! I just haven't finished the tracks yet (just barely started them for that fact). But I do plan on it! =D
