It's my honest opinion that televised professional sports are a manipulation tool and a distraction to keep the criminally neurotic content. I don't mind sports as a whole, including college sports, but I just can't get behind the NFL. I just imagine their board of directors having shadowy meetings in dim-lit conference rooms, talking about new ways to rob people of their money and how to get them to be a blind fanatic. YKTSF when you might have to spend thirty more dollars on a forty dollar item to make it functional. I'm not disagreeing that my post sounded condescending. Pardon.

Not exactly. It's just what I've observed from my friends who happen to be NFL fans, and what I've noticed at games I've been to.
I've noticed that they all tend to obsess about things (besides the game). I don't know if they were like that before they were into the game, or if the game does that to people. I dunno, maybe it's just the.... two dozen of them I know, and they're all just randomly super neurotic.Or maybe......

Didn't watch the halftime show, they've never really interested me, so I went and played Terraria for a little while building and digging and whatnot.
It was a good game, exciting to the last. I found scoring via sitting down to be amusing.
Sinking feeling when you realize that the only game of football you've watched all season was the Super Bowl and tiny bits and pieces of other games.
