With the reports that the port backlog caused by the dockworkers slowdown will take 3 months to resolve (assuming it doesn't kick off again) I'd say June/July is positively optimistic

I'm hoping for arrival at the KD warehouse July/August, with shipping then taking at least a month if not 2 or 3

I don't think the port snarl-up will be too awful by the time these are coming in if things don't go sideways with operations; the contract I believe has been signed so the cause of the problem has been remedied. Now it's just a matter of "are the people pushing sunshine about how long the backlog is" and where do they ship the cargo to in the US. Remember, Adam is out of Brooklyn and while it might be more expensive to ship to NY from China, sidestepping the backlog and the overland transport costs may make it a break-even proposition. The idea that this might arrive towards the end of summer makes me happy.

I agree though that it will be months in shipping out and those months will be torture, especially for RoW backers both for the wait (customs forms are more time-consuming than "slap on a label"; sorry) and for the tax bill from your friendly local gougers (especially in the UK from what I hear, where you pay tax and a fee for the privilege of paying the tax). Now I'm sad again...

The fee is a fixed £8, it's the bonanza of how much the custom charge is going to come through at that we're all..........eagerly anticipating.

Have we heard of anything about the resin production, for those of us who ordered everything in the only medium miniatures should be produced in?

Compiling Adam's latest comments:

Adam Poots wrote:Micro-Update! All files for print, have been delivered to the printer! All plastic production is finished and in the hands of the printers. We are now moving into the printing and packing phase. This week, we are taking it a little easy here at the studio. It was MAX effort right up to the finish line and we are all pretty exhausted. Next update "soon".

To the comment about Adam & team taking a breather:
Adam Poots wrote:@Thantsatic, now we will be following up with the printer until everything is ready to load and ship out. Following that. Fulfillment.

To the question about "all" only waiting on print:
Adam Poots wrote:@Herrflik, yes that is correct. To be hyper specific, I think there are still 17,000 some odd bases that are being shot and then sent over to the printers. I need to follow up tonight and see exactly where that is. But all the sprues, for everything, have been shot. Its an intense, intense amount of plastic.

This is all very good. Adam is bringing KDM to End of Job, and that's fantastic. I can hardly wait until it arrives sometime this summer.

Is there a way to double check what we ordered so we make sure we get everything?

It's been so long since I helped on the kickstarter that now I'm starting to question which things I selected.

You should be able to go into the Pledge Manager to see your initial order. Oddly, my order doesn't show my subsequent pledge when I reopened. Wierd.

2015 may be the year of my Kickstarters turning up. Last week I finally got my Raging Heroes pledge and now Kingdom Death is getting really close to reaching the finish line. It's scary!

I'm expecting to receive Forgotten King, Zombicide 3.2, and Journey before Kingdom Death. If Conan also delivers in 2015, that would be amazing.

Have you begun construction on the warehouse needed to store, display, and enjoy your impending windfall of miniatures?

I'm thinking the remodeled hangar I've been working on might not be big enough.

I hear you there!

The size of the box I'll be getting from KD:M is going to be...on the large side.

Especially if everything is shipping in 'retail packaging' - which given what we know of Adam, I'd bet will be happening!

I'm quite frightened of this showing up.

Words were already had towards me when boxes for all the various CMON campaigns kept showing up.

Then again, those complaints all seem to disappear as soon as I remind her my pledge usually is paid off if I sell any extra promos I get...

I don't think I'll be parting with Kingdom Death stuff though.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Around here they know the boxes will one day come. We're just not looking forward to the customs bills when that day comes.

First, you'll need a cow. Then you'll need a surgical kit.

Or, if she is as uninterested as my wife is, you just bring in the already opened box and say, "I'm so glad I found these again. I've been looking for this box for years. Want to paint some of them with me? No? Okay, I'll just paint them while you get that mani-pedi and long bath you've wanted all week. I'll bring you a glass of wine just as soon as I put this box down."

Bob's got the right idea.

I shall try this plan out.

Only problem is my kids ratting me out.

"Daddy didn't have that box before! That's a new one! Everyone knows his Kickstarter boxes are in the spare bedroom, not the garage! I saw him lugging it in from the front porch!"

I can totally picture my son spilling the beans. Kid's honest to a fault it seems.

I'm expecting something like a 2-foot cube, based on all of the expansions that I ordered. It will be glorious. And exceedingly difficult to hide.

Same. Selling of the Relic Knights and Zombicide 2 extras allowed me to bump my KD pledge from the Game to Herald of Death, and I'll be doing the same with my Zombicide 3 extras.

I am not a speculartoer, and did not buy KD stuff to resell -- all of that stuff is for ME!

I've tried that, but I only have so many boxes to swap back and forth...

That's when you can show her the date the KickStarter closed. "See honey? This box has been here for YEARS; you... *sniff* you just don't pay attention to anything that matters to me." and then leave.

She'll roll her eyes and ignore you with a "whatever" but that's a win still.

I guess that's one good thing for late kickstarters.

You've already spent so much, what's a little more on an appropriate bribe?

Forget the bribe, the honest ones always spill, whether they mean to or not. Best shot is to distract him. Get him a new videogame/book/toy then sneak it in when he's engrossed.

Trust me, worked on my kid brother constantly

Kids can't rat you out if their mouths are full of cookies. Delicious, distracting cookies.

Personally dislike when this sort of information comes out; I think it happened before the last update to.
I hope it happens but for a bit I was super happy Adam had gone with the "soon" idea of stating when updates would be instead of specific dates which he is known for being late on.

That's probably the reason he doesn't give dates prior to updates anymore.

That being said, people like me still prefer potentially false hope over no hope.

If we happen to hear something solid by the end of this week, I'd be pumped.

As such, I'll hold my excitement until Saturday morning.
