Gw have added to the Astronomican section of their website the full rules for the Spearhead supplement, which was previously in WD.

This is good of them, and I will take all the credit for this as, of course, it comes right after I finally tracked down another copy of the relevent original WD so we'd have more than one copy of the rules. A piercing, if not damning, insight into both the perils of the modern age and my so -called-life.

this is to the (UK) section -- you'll need to be logged into et etc etc.

Nice having everything in one PDF. Must try this out again soon.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!

Well that figures. Right after I took the time to scan the WD article to put onto my ipad...

Oh well. Note that this doesn't have the two new spearheads recently released in WD371, so at least my scan of that will still be useful.

Anyway, good on them for releasing it. I think they should have done it earlier IMHO...like 3 months after it was released.

Edit: Actually, I take it back. It does have those two new Spearheads as well.

..it's almost like they know isn't it....

New formations/etc is always nice though.

I like the way they're openly combining the various supplements now.

What's with the sudden glut of PDF's? They've been doing new ones every few days. And does this mean we'll get our missing Apoc formations?

By my count, the only Apoc datasheet not found at GW's website or published in an IA/Apoc book is the Ork 'Goff Rok'n Rolla' stompa from WD 350.

Of course, I've only been keeping track of the datasheets, not the formations...there could be more of those out there that I haven't noticed.

If you're ever looking for the most recent printing of any IA/Apoc rules the back pages of the INAT FAQ appendix document (found above in the INAT FAQ link) has a complete list of them (what book they're in and what page number to find them at)...and an updated version of the INAT appendix should be out within a few weeks.

Iron Saint's not there.
The formation with the Shadowsword and the 'ablative' Russes isn't there.

There are a number of others that are missing.

Still. I'm very grateful to not have to scan the Spearhead pages. Those can go into the recycling when I get home now

Ah yes. Okay got those now (need to put the Iron Saint into the INAT appendix list).

WD 350 also has the Stompa Mob formation, but the Kustom Stompa rules in that WD have since been published in IA8.

I don't think there are any others. If there are, let me know please.

I just want them to update the Tyranid ones to stop referencing rules and options that aren't there anymore.

Is the Gargantuan Spearhead a new one or was it published in White Dwarf or on the website somewhere previously? I haven't seen it before.

Yeah, the 2nd to last page of the PDF has the two new spearheads that came out in last month's WD (361, I think).

I am in the same boat truth be told.

But Tau have few options in the Mech department.
Could do with one or two new tanks maybe.
