Here's the thing,
I'm planning a little conversion just for the fun of it and I was wondering:
Does anyone know of any models with guitars that are the right scale for GW models?
I know about the Goff Rockers for the Orks, but they look a bit difficult to salvage the guitar from.
Any ideas folks?

Reaper has a couple, depending on what you're going for.
Note that that second one is more like a harp guitar than a guitar though.

You could always get an old GW Noise Marine and shave off everything except the guitar.

Go cheap! Heroclix minis are great for conversions. This dazzler is plastic and could be cut away relatively easy.

I logged on specifically so I could answer this question....
Go to Ebay.....
Type in the words "guitar charms" in your search.
This will take you to page after page of tiny little guitars designed for charm bracelets and similar jewelry. They are cheap and come in all kinds of sizes. Some of them look quite convincing.
The guitar on my Vampire Rock Band miniature, from the Old Glory 28mm Vampire Wars line, is about 25-27mm long. It is about 3mm thick and around 8mm wide. I expect that measurements close to this one in a guitar charm will match very close on any 28mm miniature. These things are available for free shipping, very low cost and in quite large lots (50+ in most purchases) that allow you to take risks regarding size/scale on a purchase.
You can get a guitar charm that can match an ogre or a human...and possibly a smaller miniature.
All you have to do is cut off the charm bracelet hoop and possibly shave off some edges to make it fit.

Or, if cash is no object, these 28mm guitars seem pretty good.

Huh. That's a pretty good tip. I actually imagine charm bracelet charms could be a good source of a ton of iconography and small 'things'. Imagine an army themed around an animal that has little tiny statues of that animal all over their vehicles.

This miniature is tall and thin for a 28mm figure. The guitar is actually quite small in comparison to 28mm. I have a gnome figurine carrying a larger guitar.
