I'm not sure what to make of the Corsairs. The helmets are nice, the weapon arms too...but the backpacks are weird.

The Wraithseer is flipping awesome though.

The corsairs look like an homage to some of the Eldar artwork in the Rogue Trader book. I like em.

They definitely have a RT vibe to them, but the backpacks just make me think of them as evil butterflies.

I may swap out the Dire Avengers I'm running in my pirate Saim Hann list and use these as counts as. The Seer is behutifuwl, though I don't know how I'm gonna get it into what I'm using currently.

Forgeworld is really pumping out a lot of Eldar stuff recently. I wonder if this means we can expect a codex of them after the three confirmed ones are done. (Necrons, Tau, Sisters)

They've really been putting out a lot of awesome models.

Maybe, but the reason they've been pumping out a lot of Eldar stuff is because the Eldar are going to be in the next Imperial Armour

Space Wolves, Elysians, and Cadians fighting against the Eldar on an Eldar homeworld, essentially kept in 'deep storage' by a Craftworld.

I'm not sure if I believe these are real... given the day they're posted on! IMO the Corsairs aren't up to usual Eldar quality. Everything about them looks wierd. Especially the Shuriken Pistol + CCW arms.

Uh, considering that "Corsairs" were one of the kits listed for this Imperial Armour--they're pretty much guaranteed to be real.

Hm, that wraithseer would make a pretty nice alternative to the Avatar.

Not everything on april 1st is a joke btw.. Why would FW make an entire newsletter just to fool people into believing theyre releasing NEW units for something they've already said they're releasing NEW units for?

I have trouble believing that companies would dabble in confusion by putting out real updates on a world-renowned prank day.

Doesn't really matter to me, though, I don't play using IA rules, and these guys don't look like they'll be migrated into the GW Codex...

Business doesnt stop on april 1st.. I find it extremely hard to believe that FW would create fake resin pieces, fake wraithlord models and then paint the fake models. Then they would create a fake newsletter talking about their FW open day and encouraging prerelease orders that cost REAL money and makes them REAL profit..

The benefit of all this work? Uh lost potential sales and man hours used to create such an elaborate hoax

Aprils fools jokes usually involve photoshopped pictures and witty yet absurd remarks that trick gullible people into believing theyre true. Those however take very little effort

Could it all be fake? Sure I suppose.. and if thats true then I will be amazed at the amount of time they have to waste over there :p

Does anyone actually think they they made these models and painted them to prank you guys? April fools jokes should be funny that would just be tormenting eldar fans.

I can only hope they put this much thought and skill into one or two Space Wolf Models for this new book. While I do not play Eldar these are just beautiful.

That Wraithseer is very nice indeed, the embleshiments make it on another level of cool for me.

Likely really a psyker, now that we've got Librarian Dreadnoughts

these are just way cool, and I'm actually liking the Corsairs more than the Wraithseer (not that it isn't awesome!). Of course I'm now thinking of coverting them into Wasp Aspect Warriors... or perhaps Dragonfly Aspect Warrior - just put some nice big, bug-like goggles on 'em ; )

... however, I can't help but be worried that they're an April Fools...

Forge World doesn't do April Fool's. Period.

However, you can pretty much be guaranteed that it is especially not a joke when they put up that the product will be available for purchase in limited numbers on Sunday--when fans can make their day miserable
