I am absolutely loving these. Not a huge fan of the wings on the Corsairs, but those helmets, guns, and backpacks are beautiful. The Wraithseer is excellent, I hope it has different psychic powers than the Warlocks though. Also, here's the Phantom Titan if you haven't seen it: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/News/Eldar-Phantom-Titan.html (sorry, I don't know how to embed images). Looks cool, although that starcannon sticking out of its chest looks kinda weird, it would be better if it had one on both sides.

Eldar shenanigans are the best shenanigans!

Hmmm....those Corsairs look nice, but my Dire Avenger Anarchists are still under my favor.

Maybe there might be some Corsair rules in the 5th Edition for Eldar...or maybe even a whole codex for them....but thats a long shot..

I would imagine those eldar wings are what the Elf Jump packs are like in Artemis Fowl.

... Sorry, no one get the reference?

I like the wraithseer though.

Not keen the the Corsair's fairy wings but the kit looks like it may be a good way to make Storm Guardians.

I am loving the Wraithseer though, reminded me off my plans for a Wraithwall army

That is exactly the picture that came to my mind when i saw them and yes, an LEP army would be cool, anyone fancy writing some prototype rules for Holly Short?

Yes, so I'm not too keen on the corsairs but the Wraithseer is awesome!

Here a short summary of information from the Forge World open day:

- IA 11 still a few months away, planned for GD release latest, rules and stats are still playtested and worked upon
- Lynx will cost more points, shadow spectres less with better stats and longer range, Hornets can fire both weapons and become a flyer
- Shadow Spectre Phoenix Lord might not see a model, not all IA11 units get a model in the near future, but all standard Eldar units with rules in it.
- Wraithlord 0-1 HQ 4++ save, several psychic powers, e.g. giving fleet to Wraith units within 6", giving one life back on 6 to dead Wraith units, and forces -1 morale save on enemies (they fall back if not passed)
- Solitaire 0-1 HQ no IC, will probably get model, carries Vortex grenade in Apoc games for 75 points, doesn't make Harlequins troops though
- Avatar Apoc datasheet gives him 2d6 wounds, loses d3 wounds for each Apoc template wailing doom shot
- Seer council
- Gyrinx cat upgrade for a captain
- All corsairs jetpack troops, several different units incl heavy weapons, wings look better in person
- Corsairs use Eldar and Dark Eldar stuff, but Dark Eldar may make an appearance in IA 12 or even IA13, maybe with big barge ship, Evaluation in process, concet sketches shown
- Phantom Titan shown but not on sale until maybe GD , plans for Warlock Titan

Loving the double hulled Raider, the big cannon on the Ravager needs a bit of streamlining though (and why there are guys hanging off the side of a gunboat I don't know).

I'm really hoping they don't screw up the rules for the Phantom. 12 all around with only a 4+ save is pretty easy to deal with even if you do have 8 structure points, I was hoping for 13 front or a 3+ all the time. Hopefully both the arm weapons get some form of additional save against being stunned or destroyed, otherwise its just going to be torrented till its stunned/crippled (and then to death) by Autocannons.
Good to know that they are working on a few more weapon options as well as the Warlock though.

Feth that, BUTLER'S rules would be the funnest. He would be essentially a SUPER ogryn. Or, really, just Nork Dead Dog, but much smarter.

Now I am hit with the great hammer of nostalgia. Might have to make a thread on an Artemis Fowl themed army. But no more off topic chatter for me.

If you ask me it's a real possibility that you will be able to take 3 WL's as a single heavy support choice. Couple this with being able to upgrade one to become a Wraithseer to stop the other two from suffering wraithsight. So they will not need a babysitter.

This would be nice. I'd finally reawaken my Wraithlords from their long slumber within the infinity Circuit.

As a side note, isn't that a large shimmer shield that the Wraithseer has on it's arm?

Yes, that's a ShimmerShield, but whether or not FW says it's a ShimmerShield is another story. It would be nice to see an invul save on WL's. Hopefully the spear will signal the return of power weapon witchblades. GW really screwed the Farseer and Warlocks when they dropped the power weapon bit from the Witchblades, made them almost, not quite but almost, useless in close combat.

- Lynx will cost more points, shadow spectres less with better stats and longer range, Hornets can fire both weapons and become a flyer

Hell YEAH! I love the Lynx, the Shadow Spectres, the Hornet and the Wasp, they WILL be posted on my wish list wall, like other FW Eldar are, allthough since i have aquired a few of the FW models, some of the pics have been removed. It would be nice to see a Phoenix Lord for the Shadow Spectres but I wouldn't count on it, there still is no Phoenix Lord for several Aspect warriors because they came into being after the original aspect shrines, Warp Spiders for example.
Gotta have one or more of those Wraithseers, that thing is beautiful, and with a Warlock Titan being planned, it becomes a must have.
The Solitaire is a nice addition to see also, and I agree with the rules for him. He has always been more of an assassin type individual anyways.
Wonder what their gonna do for a Seer Council since all you need is 1 Farseer, and 12 warlocks, and if your like me you have that many and more floating around anyways, so you already have a Seer Council.
The Corsairs are cool looking, even if others don't like the backpack setup, i do. Place the wings in a more upright position and you have Japanese Samurai banners, so I'm gonna have to get some of these as well, probably a lot of them, like 60 or so.

- Gyrinx cat upgrade for a captain

For an Eldar player this is probably gonna sound stupid, but I've never heard of a Gyrinx Cat and so I had to go google it. Found some pretty interesting stuff to read about the cats but not enough, pretty much just nothing but the basics. They are supposed to have the abilty to improve the psychics of whoever they are bonded to, so could we be looking at a way to extend the range of Farseer/Warlock powers, or will FW make it an exclusive wargear item. I guess we'll find out in IA11, I never thought I would buy one of these except for the one with the Eldar in it, but now I have got to get my hands on this book when it is released.

fav movie quotes: "Well let's put her in charge man! - - "Step up to red alert." "Are you sure sir? It does mean changing the bulb." - - "The escape pods not an option, it escaped last Thursday."

To be honest, I think that model needs some work. It might just be the paint job, but I don't like it as I like other Eldar models. The spear looks nicely segmented, so I'll model him as if he he is about to throw the spear... then maybe the other army in front... then that blank face really annoys me, so I'll need to put a bit of detail on it. Otherwise, yeah, I can see something coming out of it.

Wraithseer is nice, but the additional bits and not an entire kit make me a bit iffy on the pricing.
