Here are some more pics. I've finished painting all the internals. The final picture of the whole torso is not glued together yet. Sadly, my magnets have still not turned up, so I wont be able to finish the build this weekend. You wouldn't believe how badly the two main parts of the body fitted together. I had to scrape away loads of material for a decent fit (even after originally remoulding parts in hot water). And by the way kids, if you use a really sharp craft knife to do this CUT AWAY FROM YOUR FINGERS. A sleep deprived monkeyh got a bit carried away at 3am, and received multiple wounds, failing any armour saving throw - mind you I always say if a jobs worth doing it's worth spilling a bit of blood for. Anyway, pictures....

I really enjoyed some of your custom posing in the first page or two and your GS work it great as well. Excited to see the Titan painted as well mate. Always a joy to see another Chaos builder/player.

I think my original target of finishing the build this weekend may have been a bit ambitious! (even though I now can't anyway due to magnets not turning up ) Built the feet and preped all the leg parts, so I may have a pair of legs built tomorrow but it may take a while to fit all them little pistons - maybe finish build in the week (depending on magnets arriving). Ordered a load of skulls off e-bay the other day, some of which I'll add, but these are coming from China so may take a few weeks.

Quick update - got the legs built (still got to fit all the pistons though). The armour isn't fixed on as I want to paint it all before it's glued in place. Also, got me a new display cabinet at the car boot sale today (the one on the left of the pic) - a bargain at 10 quid! Room for at least another couple of hundred Berzerkers!

What colours you use on your zerkers?

Check out about half way down page 7 for how I did the red. The brass is 50/50 gold and silver, sepia ink wash and 50/50 gold silver highlights - all Vallejo paints.

It's just flesh paint washed with skin wash ink then red ink and highlighted with more flesh paint. Some areas I washed a little green or purple ink in too just for good measure.

aah, cool. i'm thinking about getting a chaos warhound in the future just to have as a display piece (or if i like the look of the rumored chaos legion codex) how hard is it to build?

To be honest building it hasn't been too bad, I found the legs and all the pistons fairly straight forward, the worst bit so far has been the body where I found the parts didn't fit together too well - even after softening parts up in hot water. Had to use some green stuff to fill in especially around the bit between the two internal compartments. I've actually now ground to a halt until my magnets arrive. Whenever I check the tracking record on the Royal Mail website it tells me the parcel cannot be tracked until it's been delivered??!!! WTF!!! Why would I want to track it once I've received it? I want to know where they are now - not once I've get them!

So what are you thinking about on the base of the titan?
How about a ruined building?
Or a BIG pile of skulls?

My Feancee sent me a package from Canada 3 weeks ago, I sent her a card last monday, ...........


She got the card saturday and the package is a no show.

Titans need a base too...
You need to buy it for them from a hardware store etc.
I get my large bases from Hobby Point

Not sure about a base - if Fluffy stands up OK on his own I probably wont worry - but we'll see how it goes. If the magnets don't turn up soon he wont be getting built any time soon anyway.

What if you magnetize fluffy to the base aswell?
You could even build the base as a diorama, and whenever you are going to play, just take fluffy off the base and put it on the table.
That would be a pretty awesome thing to do.

What size magnets did you order?

10 & 20mm round ones, should be big enough to magnetize the body, head and weapons. Unfortunately I need to wait another week before the supplier will send replacements!

Hmm... Then you should consider pinning fluffy on the base.
It would be easier to take it off and put it back.

Kind of. It was more actually for ease of transport etc and magnetising the weapons so I can change them round and accomodate the inevitable 'weapon destroyed' results. Hopefully gonna add some paint tomorrow - trying for rust + green.

Not quite finished yet but here's the first panel I've been painting for Fluffy. I know I said I didn't want it red or green but the green kind of works with the 'old rust bucket' scheme. Any thoughts before I paint more?

Not exactly, but I intend to have some banners hanging down from the guns etc.
