i know Vik. it's a pain in the royal behind. and about the nids parts i have some from a friend.

oh and a second thing of off my mind... try to use gloves next time you use GS... that way you get rid of fingerprints and if you add due to the gloves creases then that´s ok as it will look as if you did some details only^^

well i everybody,

i came a cross some parts I wanted to use on a wolf lord conversion. and decided i wanted to make the model now so i did
the pic's are coming soon.
just in short what i did was this.
i took the legs of a AOBR terminator
the upper body of a wolf guard terminator
the arm of a ork nob biker. The one with the giant axe.
a wolf guard storm shield
the head of a wulfen from rackham
the under arm of the same wulfen holding a spear.
a tail from a wolf from the goblin wolf rider set

i cut of the underarm of the axe arm
green stuffed a patch of fur on it
made some greenstuff manes so the head would fit nicely
and the rest i just glued on.

pic coming soon around saturday/sunday.
these will be without basecoat so you can see the greenstuff

for colors i was thinking black armour with a white/pale skin for the flesh parts.
the wolf lord is part of the 13th company

sounds like agood looking conversion....now i am eager to see it! darn....seems there is a wave of teasing fellas out there...*shakes fist*

hmmm... i can see good stuff and some stuff i would share my thoughts about with you...

the head looks good... and i like the ferral theme you are going for... with the bare skin and all... tho one thing here... skip the tail... this mkaes me too much think of skaven than wulfen...

funnyly the right side of the fur looks better then the left? why? the creases there look as if you used a different tool?

but i think you are going an interesting route with that model here!

Looks good from the early work, but I do agree with Vik it does look more like 40k Skaven, which I like the idea of

alright i took him to the vet who lobbed of the tail...... now he is all black (basecoat)... and i am waiting in the sun until he is dry

poor sod... now he is tailless...yes!!

i gave the black a bleached bone dry brush and i don't know how or why it happened but instead of a light grey i got a aery greenish ghostly color on the model.... who the hell did this happened? looks awesome but i don't know what happened.

i believe there was some blue left on my dry brush but that would be almost impossible as i clean everything thoroughly.

i think it has to do with the black primer... i had this happening to me too when i used heavy diluted yellow over a black basecoat... it even then looked neon...

never had this reaction with this primer before i like it though. Come to think of it Vik do you know the store Action? i thoughed it was from germany

yep thats the one they have cans of paint of 2 euro and there flat black is the same as GW paints. although other color tend to meld the plastic for some reason black is the only color i tried who didn't melt the plastic

i did the shop search on their site and it didn´t work... dunno if they have any shops in berlin...

but that price for a can is truly interesting...

Do you have big plans for the back of the base? He's quite far up on it.

And because he reminds me very much of a dog, having those greenstuff terrain features behind him look a little.... inappropriate. Like a dog marking his territory.

hahaha no that was just left over greenstuff. i have some ideas for the back of the base. and i left it open so i could add a cloak to his back. his terminator armour is pretty damaged so if i failed at painting damage i could always give him a cloak .

i was thinking some thing like a boulder or big rock
