Game of adeptus titanicus. Yes all enemy titans are facing one warlord about to make charge with power claw too bad it was blind barraged :/ suicide run but reaver on left was carrying vital cargo that needed taking off edge. Alas reaver ignoring his reaver kinda tipped which of my titans carried cargo so after warlord charged warlord backed and turned 90 degree cripling reavers legs and his reaver finished. Warlord didn't even get one last glorious charge as second reaver and warhounds immobilized it.
At rules are great. Extreme skew lists punish you

Last week I threwdown some Bighammer with one of my Kill Team lads, after neither of us had played 40k for a year or so:
1500 points Daemons of Tzeentch vs Biel-Tan Eldar. First time I've used Codex: Daemons - I played a bunch with my DOT in the first few months of 8E using the index - and I'm pretty sure I forgot any of the stuff they added, including the weird combat locus thing. Anyway, we played the simplest maelstrom mission (3 cards a turn), which neither of us had done before and I think both enjoyed quite a bit, as random as that draw can be. Unfortunately it took so long to get started that we only got through 2 turns and sort of vowed to go back to KT for a while
Still cool to get the gribblies out and be reminded I've still got basing and even some painting to go.

AT train has no brakes.
Steel groaned and buildings bowed as legios Favilla and ( wip) Astorum clashed over the chem plant's acidic swathes. I got Retrieval, made a bit more awkward by the crew in question chillin' about in the middle of the acid zone (all green parts of the field were Dangerous and we houseruled that also knights can get damaged by it, even if they don't lose movement), he got basic Engage & Destroy. My knights tore through his on right flank and my long range Warlord threw deadly support fire from there over to the midfield, where two brawling Warlords bullied everything smaller they could get in their sights. The Warhounds were my only hope for the actual retrieval, but that dwindled soon as their shields faltered under a hailstorm of bullets and artillery (from both sides, good job in the back boys ) and Echo Dolorum crashed down in flames. The other Warhound, Edax Rerum, managed to get very close to the objective and survive until it had literally EVERY system out of structure points and with three criticals before it blew up too. At this point I had to go for a tabling and had the game ended sooner, I'd have lost on kill points, but as the dice decreed, in the beginning of the sixth turn my buddy conceded with nothing but a battered Warlord left facing almost everything I had.
Hilarity ensued on turn two, as his double fist Reaver got murdered by combined fire, toppled backwards on his Warlord and smashed his Body from full to zero structure points

4-way free-for-all Warhammer Underworlds with the original SCE warband, Goblins, Arcanites and my Nighthaunts representing all 4 Grand Alliances.
The Tzeentch player deployed too far back and turtled too much to score anything, SCE tried to flank me but charged too much and always ran out of models before they ran out of actions, while I just pounded on the poor goblins with impunity and won with 11 glory, with goblins at 6, SCE at 5 and Arcanites at 1.

Finally got another game of Kill Team in. Had to dig through the bottom of the FLGS's terrain box after forgetting my own at home. The result bit me in the butt as we ended up with a mexican standoff. There is roughly a dozen scions in that hut and the reviers can't charge in to get the powerfist wielding leader. The only hope was to circle around the hut to bracket the doorway but the game ended before that could happen. At least it wasn't a loss, but it wasn't a victory either.

Thanks! There are a good number of 1988 Chaos Renegades scattered throughout the army, with even more waiting for whatever purpose they end up in. Really love those minis, was a pleasure to have an excuse to track them down and slap some blue paint on them. (I'd post better shots of them but I don't think I have any that aren't battle shots!)

Personal grudge match vs dark eldars. Index if there's couple spots at least 1.5" high virtually unbeatable for orks barring maelstrom luck. This time was blowing vehicles to pieces helped by ridiculous luck as he could not kill mek guns at all

Street Masters board game.
This was the game ending turn. The Ryu styled guy in the Dragonball gi was the last hero on the board, the other having succumbed to damage from drive bys and getting ganged up on by the goons (who get a bonus for ganging up on already engaged fighters). The boss on the left was whooping some serious butt and the bendy pole guy kept poking him for damage. After the hero had activated, trying to wrest the objective from the baddies, the remaining minions closed in and finished the deed.
BOO urns.

It's not the last game I played, but since it was finally posted on my blog, I took part in a recreation of the "Battle" of Fort Necessity at Fall In! 2018, using Muskets & Tomahawks. While the British and Americans were able to give a decent fight, the sheer weight of numbers of the French, Canadian and Indian attackers meant the battle ended with the fort's defenses overrun, and Lt. Col. Washington captured.

1700ish points of Engage and Destroy, my legio Favilla crushed the opposing blasphemers.
Full Venator maniple w. a doublefist Reaver and few knights vs. two Warlords, two Hounds and both Questoris and Cerastus banners.
I got to choose the deployment and went with close quarters, trying to get quickly into melee and Inferno range.
First turn all his knights evaporated, either dissolving into the acid pools trying to rush my engines (houserule: knights ignore movement penalties, not the damage from Dangerous Terrain) or by walking into a double-Inferno Cannon shaped trap. Meanwhile my fisty Reaver gets uppity and the machine spirit fires the Warp Missile in response to being shot, stubbing a Warlord's toe. My leader Reaver engages his Warhounds at range, aided by my knights and kick some flamers offline.
Second turn my fisty Reaver makes scary noises and draws about all fire to itself, getting nearly crippled and burning in the process, but buys time for my Hounds to dance towards the flank of the enemy firebase. The front Warlord starts to lose shields.
Third turn the flaming Ruina Superborum jumps over a building and jumps down on a Warhound, piledriving it in half. This results in a plasma explosion that sends the Reaver flying backwards, falling to its doom in the acid pits. The Warlord nearby loses the rest of its shields and eats a hefty serving of lasers immediately afterwards, getting very close to critical. As his forces dwindle and my Hounds draw closer to uncounterable harrying positions, my opponent graciously forfeits the battle.
Hounds, man. Hounds are the best.

Bitter fighting between Favilla and Astorum, the Warp Runners getting a very "saved by the bell" victory as the game ended after four turns and I was in the perfect position to claim victory by burning his Warlord's final hit off but alas, the dice denied my Hounds the time to get the kill.
Enjoyable to see a Warlord with a fist duking it out with a red-hot burning fisty Reaver, as well as learning to utilize melta Reavers better with Venator's bonus shots.
