The debate with the dreadknight and personal teleporter a weather it is jump infantry/monstrous creature so i made a poll to see what the general community thinks about this.
please vote from a neutral point of view and not one i do not what to fight this
the facts
dreadknight starts as a monster creature
personal teleporter makes the unit become jump infantry
it does not say in the rule book that it can not be both

Why is this in tactics?
I think it remains a MC like a DP with wings and will be FAQ/Errataed to that effect.
Its just another symptom of a poorly written codex.

I thought that the codex insert said "Moves like jump infantry."

No it doesn't. That's the problem.
It says "A unit with a personal teleporter is jump infantry"
And that is what has started the massive rules fight ><

it is a monstrous creature that can teleport 30" once per game, and id assume that it moves like a jump infantry, but it cannot become infantry.

the rules say
units with personal teleporter are jump infantry. once per game, the unit can elect to make a teleport shunt, the unit immediately makes a move of up to 30" in any direction. this move cannot end on top of another or in impassable terrain, but ignores intervening units, terrain and so on. A unit that moves via teleport shunt cannot assault in the same turn, although it can shoot or run as normal. the unit counts as having moved
the dreadknight can take a personal teleporter for 75 points

It's certainly badly worded and needs a FAQ from GW, but to me the intention seems clear - it's still a MC, but moves as jump infantry and can do the teleport shunt thing.

The rules state something along the line that "units with personal teleporters are jump infantry[...]". Thus, a really strict RAW reading would mean that the Dreadknight is still an MC, doesn't get to move 12"/turn but does get to shunt once if you buy the 80-ish (incorrect on purpouse, forum policy) point upgrade.

I disagree, as I said with deamon prince with wings, its an mc that can move 12" normally

Well, a DP and a dreadknight are different things.
As many have said, "move as" isn't the "is", and as far as I'm aware, you can only be one unit-type.
Of course, we're all aware that it WILL be errated/ FaQ'ed so that he simply moves like one, or counts as both. We don't have to be tied up in some silly rule debate.
And of a not-so-interesting note. I was the one that started a thread on this very subject (maybe the first?), it was locked as the codex was so new at the time*.
*Or maybe because it was named "Fun RaW games with the new GK", i.e: Loophole hunting. *whistles*

However, there is no rule saying that you can be only one unit type. That said, there's no rule that you can be two types, either, hence our little problem.

Page 28 of the Grey Knights Codex:
"Units with personal teleporters are jump infantry."
The Dreadknight only has one personal teleporter, and as such only benefits from the once-per-game shunt move, as that isn't tied to being jump infantry. You can disagree as much as you want, those are the rules.
That said, no one, including myself, plays that way, as it's rules lawyering taken to the most extreme pinnacle of lawyering.
