As many of you are aware there will be at least 2 more Dark Eldar release waves, maybe more. We've got a rough idea what they will contain, Plastic Talos/Chronos kit, Plastic Scourges and maybe even a Razorwing and Voidraven Bomber.

Having seen the upcoming release schedule in GW, they have 2 more waves written in for the 10th June and the 24th June 2011. Not 100% sure whether this will be the day the releases are announced, or the models actually released, meaning we could then expect an Incoming article towards the end of May.

So as it stands and barring any changes, we shall see a few more Dark Eldar releases in June!

There has already been an Incoming article on new Dark Eldar. It came after the Tomb Kings were announced so it is definite for June. We will see Advance Orders the second week of May for all this stuff.

I think you are confusing some things:

1.) The 2nd wave of Dark Eldar in June has already been confirmed in an Incoming article a month ago, the April Incoming article confirmed the July release, the May Incoming article will confirm the August release, not the June release.
2.) It doesn't make sense to declare the releases within one month "several waves", or would you call the Jokaero the second wave for Grey Knights? BTW then we would be talking about 3rd and 4th waves for DE, since in March we had a minor release of Succubus and Beastmaster. Rumour posters always called that the 1.5 wave.

So yes, we will see several DE models released, and it is good to know that there are plenty enough for at least 2 weeks.

Well waves or partial waves, whatever you want to call them. I'm just confirming the dates according to GW's own Monthly Store Planner have Dark Eldar releases on the 10th and the 24th June.

As far as I'm aware these dates haven't been posted anywhere else, which would make it news. And if they have then I apologise for wasting your time

Add salt to taste ... I was talking to a GW guy and the subject of these release dates came up. He said that there's two additional releases, scheduled to come out between these ones. Additional details were not available to the shop staff, he said, but he suspected they would be dark eldar related.

Well as I said these were GW's own monthly planners which the staff print off from their instore computer terminals and contain important dates for stuff coming up in order for store managers to plan upcoming events etc.

It was on here that the DE stuff is slated for release along with other releases in June and July which are not specified. Also contains the usual stuff, White Dwarf release, New Black Library releases etc.

So take with as much salt as you like, but when I see something produced by someone at GW Head Office, printed off in a GW store by a GW member of staff with the intention of it being put up on a wall somewhere in their office to inform other members of GW staff what they have coming up over the course of the next couple of months, I'm inclined to think that it may well have some substance.

Like I said, if something changes the schedule then it changes, but this was a print out and info obviously not meant for non GW employees, so I'd be more than a little surprised if they were sending false information to their own staff in order to keep us on our toes.

Oh yeah, well I heard from Jervis's favorite hooker that there was going to be 14 releases from 10th to the 24th. One each day. One model exactly, if you're not in nottingham when that one model is released, and not the first in line...too bad.

Ahh now you see that's where you are going wrong! Get yourself a White Dwarf subscription paying via Direct Debit, at only £9 every 3 months, every 3rd issue you receive will be free. Hopefully then it'll be with this 'free' issue that all the stars will have aligned, the prophecy will have been fulfilled and you will receive a genuinely FREE.........bit of plastic.

I know that's the reason I got my subscription, the free model I may or may not get every 5 years makes it all worth it

Oh, and the bits of paper with pictures and writing on them too, their pretty cool. Although I do find that the copy of the Games Workshop yellow pages/phone book which takes up a 3rd of every issue, slightly annoying

For what it is worth: the manager of the local GW down here claims to have seen new (metal) Wrack models and is convinced they will be part of the june release (supposedly in blisters).

Especially if Blister costs continue to rise as we expect, especially for non-character models without superb work and detail into them to justify getting them in the first place.

Perhaps these were Haemonculi and not wracks? That would make more sense if they were in blisters.
