Did it fly into that lightsabre?

Seriously now, that looks pretty cool, have you actually melted the model to make it look like that? My only tip would be to change the orientation so that it all fits on the base.

Probably work

The melty effect on the Falcon is awesome, but I feel like you could do better on making the overall idea come through.

Look at it this way, you have this zippy little vehicle that is effectively a several ton low altitude aircraft. It's racing around at top when when suddenly a blast knocks out it's rear, killing then engines and causing it to plummet to the ground. Now, as it looks (to me anyway), you've got the rear half of it vaporized and then it makes a soft landing with the front part barely touching a rock in front of it, which is fine, if that's where you're wanting to stop. Personally, I would expect such a thing to bury itself at least partially, kick up dirt and debris, have an awesome impact crater around it, and so on.

I think you have a good start, but I think you could build up the ground around the edges of it and make it look REALLY awesome.

A trail where it skidded along might be an idea at least.

I agree, maybe give it a crater effect around it, even add a few mangled eldar! or an imperial guardsmen pinned up against the rock.

But it does need a little more to it to give it a full effect

And a flat model base. That one is horribly warped.

What is the red thing stretching from the falcon to the orks head?

Sorry, should have zoomed in on the pic, didn't see the pilot in the cockpit.

Its a nice idea, the melting is good, but you need a bigger board that isn't warped for this diorama.
The colours of colours used for your falcon are poor and sloppy, stick with two colours for eldar vehicles, three at a push. Keep working at it.

Yeah, that looks to be a real good showcase. i agree with the skid trail when you get a new board. i did the same once with a crashed land speeder. but i love the laze! tis an awesome little extra.

That is 100% WIN simply becasue I hate hate hate hate Eldar.

I do agree that you could crush up the front end a bit and reposition it to actually fit on the base board, but feh... it's a crashed Falcon! WIN!!!!

Please don't do that just to increase your posts. That looks nice, what I would reccomend doing to make it look supercalifragalistic would be to get some cottom wool, and patiently drybrush it would grey and blacks, so simulate smoke, and put it on there. Would make a good game marker, even better for apoc!
