You've never played it huh?

And the new one will be a bit more ground focussed anyway.

Oh, I played the old ones. Decent series, I think. Just got a bit silly in the lmore recent games where there's mach thrusters on everything. And it's good to hear they're getting their heads out of the clouds again.

Well a good cleaning out and a fresh install of Windows seems to have fixed my comp's ailments.

I've got Skyrim installed and followed the Skyrim Total Enhancement Project's steps to optimise and tweak it, installed all the recommended mods too.

Going to play a Heavy Armour Imperial with Sword 'n' Shield.

Wish me luck! Maybe if I put enough time into one character I will like it this time... I certainly found it much more immersive when I got too Riverwood and talked to Handar's family (I got no further than the Faendal-Sven bit, had to get some sleep )

I would agree if not for one thing:

Spoiler:
If he wasn't a douchebag that tried to kill some of the DB members then I would have thought so. Its safe to say I had fun cutting him a new one ^^

When the rich rage war it's the poor who die

Armies I have: Chaos Space Marines, Tau, Necrons, High Elves

Armies I want:Lizardmen, Warriors Of Chaos, Dark Eldar

Armies I may get: Dark Angels, Tomb Kings, Vampire Counts

Got to agree there. Shame that the best armour comes from the Thieves Guild questline XD

Oh, I agree, the boosters, overboosters and quick boosters (and that mission with the ultra booster), were a bit silly, but it was a big load of fun to have. Though this might come from me being an absolute speed freak in games. (yet I hate racing games )

Tell me this isn't a fun start to a mission? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19rzJ29LyJM

I'll now leave the AC chat outside of this thread... no one seems to care about the actual AC threads :(

Wouldve been happier with a "kill every member of the sanctuary" quest like in Oblivion (didnt like near anyone in the guild), but other than that, it was decent. Did like cicero and the last shadowscale though.

There's a quest called "Destroy the Dark Brotherhood!" where you have to kill every member of the Brotherhood (apart from Babette, I guess a 300 year old vampire that looks like a 10-year old still counts as a "child").

How to start the quest:
Spoiler:
If you are first starting the game.
1) Talk to the kid in Windhelm to start Innocence Lost
2) Complete Innocence Lost
3) Get a Mysterious Letter from The Courier
4) Sleep anywhere and get kidnapped
5) When presented with the 3 hostages by Astrid, kill Astrid and not any of the hostages
6) Congrats! You're on the quest to Destroy the Dark Brotherhood!

As awesome as Lucien was in Oblivion, I never once summoned his ghost in Skyrim. I really don't like magic in Skyrim so thats probly why.

I summoned his ghost a few times but he just tends to get in the way as all followers do on my thief.

Speaking of thieves, has anyone tried the expanded thievery mod on steam? It's quite awesome.

What exactly does it do game-play wise? I noticed that it added some new areas, but couldn't tell what else.
