The Talos/Cronos kit opens so many converting horizons!!!

It's amazing to see how thin is the line between the new DE range design and how a proper Chaotic range should look like.

Awesome!!

Let's see:
- Talos: look great and it's plastic. Sold.
- Cronos: same.
- Venom: pretty good design, a bit wider than I thought but still nice. Sold too.
- Scourges: a plastic kit of 5 minis, nice enough price. Only one weapon of each? GAK! Stil buying a box, maybe two, but... :(
- Battleforce: nice selection, but I don't need it. I think is ok for newcomers
- No flyers? :( Maybe to be put on preorder in two weeks... I hope.

That's four and two :( Good enough, I guess!

Edit: I'm watching the sprues for Talos and Cronos... AWESOME!

Awesome. Honestly the talos/cronos have more fleshy bits than I thought they would but I still like the design. Venom looks good, almost exactly like the codex artwork.

I really like how the scourges have a mix of feathered and bat wings, I did not call that one.

THERE'RE HERE!!!! Loving the look and demented feel of the Cronos and those poses on the scourges; I'm taking these over helions for shure, maybe even for some wych conversions too. Some really great work from Jes!!!

They've made some very significant changes to the Talos which I really like and which aren't visible in the codex picture, while I can still see all the features prevalent in it as if the head was bent down behind the carapace; also the same case for the Cronos... Is it possible that they made some changes to the design after the codex was released?

Hmmm... Bit of a mixed bag for me; I think the Scourges are beautiful and a great looking kit; hopefully it's suitably compatible with the other kits. Pretty good price too.

I'm not a fan on the Talos/Chronus or the Venom however; I don't think the Venom looks particularly Dark Eldar-ish, but much more craftworld and even in heroic scale, it doesn't look like it could ever fit 6 Dark Eldar on it, but maybe that's just me.

Surprised no-one's commented on the battleforce...

Well, we first knew of Venoms in the Harlequins arcticles. It has some logic that the design resembles both Craftworld and Dark Eldar.

Talk about a Solid Release!

My god, the Talos/Cronos have to be some of the best looking models that GW has ever put out, I"m pretty stunned.

Scourges also look great, with two sets of wings.

The Venom is well, Ok I guess, it's really hard to give a good review of it, in the face of the other two amazing kits. At leas it's Available now though!

It's actually cheaper than the old battleforce. Has GW gone senile? Though, it does contain less Reavers.

Back in November, in the first wave, they splitted the releases in 2 dates, as they use to, and the preorders were splitted too.

Do you dakkaites think that we will see more stuff in preorder when this kits finally hit the shelves? I'm pretty worried about this because I really wanted a flyer :S

Pain/Parasite Engine: Most EVIL looking thing GW has ever made. Hands Down.
Venom: Meh. I think I'm going to stick with Converting one by sticking parts from a DE Raider and an Eldar Vyper together.
Scourges: I think I'm in love. I love the lore on em and I was really hopping GW was going to do them Justice. And they delivered.

Oh yeah, true of course, but it still can't be fielded in a Craftworld force (yet!) so I really think it should maintain more of the DE aesthetic, a cute little sail at least?

I like how 'clean' the Venom is, almost like the plan is to re-do it as a Craftworld version later down the line.

The Talos/Cronos are very cool.

Ummm...somewhere...

Wow...that is all I have to say ! Just wow Jes is amazing, he's done it again! I love how the new cronos/talos is just so...different! They look awesome! I can see when ever they get to releasing wracks and grotesques that the army will look very themed indeed I also think it was a good idea for the two separate kits, if they were mixed I believe it would cost $96 austrlian or around there, so for once were not being that shafted
Scourges look awesome! Seriously I don't mind they only have one of each weapon, they are amazing, will certainly be picking up two boxes!
Don't mind the venom, don't use them that much anyway
In Australia your saving $50 on buying the batte force...from the warstore it costs $82 including shipping, that's quite a lot of savIngs!!! :p however it seems more of a beginner thing, but a good deal never the less!
Very very happy with these, DE are easily the best model range in the game IMHO, I'm disappointed at no razorwing/voidraven, but these will suffice for now :p but they gotta be the models that will be released for preorder on the 24th, there's no way it won't be!!!!

Everything looks very good, though I wish the Venom and Talos/Cronos were $5 cheaper.

The Scourges are great, I hope there is enough for consistent wings though. I don't like the bat/bird combination.

The battleforce is cool stuff. Looks like a savings of almost 20%.
