Loving the Scourges and the venom.
I'll have 3 venoms and 3 boxes of Scourges please! thank you.

Could not be happier with the female Wyches riding on the venom!
Talk about made for my army!
Happy! Happy! Happy! Happy! Happy! Happy! Happy!

Also I prefer the feathered wings to the bat wings.
+++ So if anyone want to set up a trade I'm offering 6 pairs of batwings for 6 pairs of feathered wings+++

Love the Scourge looking down the sight like a sniper, actually. Super awesome pose.

Anyone going to have extra shard carbines I can trade for?

Gamesworkshop must know that I have a new job. They have been releasing new models almost on a weekly basis and I have been buying them.

Though those models do look sweet and I am now considering starting Dark Eldar.

I'm glad I waited on converting a talos and venom. My scourges look at least as nice as what GW did so I likely won't be getting any of those.

The scourges really are impressive. I like the wing variation. But the venom has already sold itself to me, after all the conversions I've seen, I'm glad it has come out as a small, blade-like transport. My trueborn will be gagging for a ride.

Loving it all. That said, still really happy with my Scourge conversions, but I think the official ones wouldn't look out of place next to them.

Definitely going to get some Venoms and a Pain Engine though

Do you dakkaites think that we will see more stuff in preorder when this kits finally hit the shelves? I'm pretty worried about this because I really wanted a flyer :S

yes.

If not before maybe.

I think I love you.

At first I thought you were saying that to me.

I dig the venom, as well. It does seem like they missed one thing, though, and that's by including three wyches with it rather than kabalites. But they may be able to be seamlessly included in regular wych units. I will wager that most venoms will end up having a trueborn gunner.

Talos is uber-creepy, and now I want to see the wracks. A coven army could be a visually stunning army to see hit the battlefield.

Agreed, very sleek. Plus the simplicity of the design ought to save plenty of time when I paint up all nine of them.

Dear god those scourges are beautiful.
I never really wanted to use them, but I'll have to buy some now

I'm kind of dissapointed that the talos and chronus are completey different kits, I might have got one if they were interchangeable. I think I'll give them a miss.

The Venom is a little underwhelming too, but still a very nice model, naturally I'm ordering 5

Over all I'm impressed

They are interchangeable, they're just listed as 2 different kits for some, confusing, reason...

If you look on their product description you can make either with the kits. Fret not!

The entire DE release line demonstrates to me just how GW should handle a release. They overhauled an entire line, wrote a fairly balanced codex and have nearlyl the entire line available in a relatively short period of time.

These releases are just fantastic. I just need to finish my current project before diving in to this. There's just too many great looking models to ignore at this point.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Makes me wonder a bit now.

Many of us were thinking b/c of the back page of the latest WD we would be seeing a new DW skimmer/flyer b/c of the picture. Now, I think that DE advertisement is referring to these models being released.

I didn't expect that much flesh on the walkers, it will take some getting used to.

But all the models are brilliantly executed. My only complaint is that I don't like the mix of leathery and feathery wings in the same unit of Scourges.

This was known since last year. People wanted hanging crew that was wyches. If you want kabalites you can use the ones from the raider. I am pretty sure people who are wanting to make wych covens, will trade their raider crew for venom crew.

All in all, I am very pleased with these models. Everything is past expectations. After looking at the Cronos, I am pretty sure the metal grotesques are going to be pretty awesome looking.

My only complaint is the venom looks a little too clean. However that is an easy fix with all the bitz you get from the ravager and raider sprues.

1.) My favorite is the Venom. Close to the artwork I already liked. And it transports 5, not 6 DE, with 2 on the wings, they fit perfectly. Note that it be build with open and closed canopy and with or without railing.
2.) Expected something more mechanical from the Talos/Cronos, not a Grotesque variant. Not bad, maybe I do a mechanical conversion from all the parts.
3.) Good that Scourges differ from the artwork, hated feathered bodies. Also prefer bat wings. Hope that there are enough of them on the sprue, fear not.
4.) Waited with buying standards for the battleforce, so I will take two.

Great releases! The scourges are my favorite I have to say, they have done a great job on the poses and variety that is included in the set.

The pain engine reminds me of something else, AT43 maybe? Nontheless, it is still an excellent model!
