Well, you got the idea. This image were drawn mostly by the classic movies of the golden age of Hollywood, which started to appear in Soviet film distribution in the years of Khrushchev Thaw.
With Rock'n'Roll music, jeans and other stuff slowly leaking into USSR the popularity of USA amongst youngsters grown even more. Of course authorities heavily reproved this and you even could have been thrown out of the University for walking around in the jeans... Which naturally made it all even more popular. I suppose it was a rather bizarre time...

Wow man! That's crazy. I thought the Jeans thing was just a movie joke! Well, childhood for me was probably a lot like life in any little farming life anywhere in the world, I'd imagine. I'm really glad we did not nuke each other, and now we can share toy sodiers and stories!

I am filling cracks and smoothing out the bent plastic pieces where my pliers kinked it when bending Hazzer. It's hard to see them, that is why I keep priming it white with the AB after each filling/sanding phase.
It looks like I got all the cracks, now just one more final smooth sanding to get any remaining chunkiness and then paint.

Well, if you are attempting to reproduce the look of the 50's automotive design, smoothness is kind of part of the look. I have always been fascinated by autobody work anyways, but I have never had the opportunity to learn it IRL. This is a fun experiment, the real thing needs lots of sanding too

yep... yesterday i told my wife about FO3 and all the style and such things and funnyly she didn´t knew the term streetcruiser...or as in german "Strassenkreuzer"... the big caddy for instance...which in FO are now atmoic powered...the whole estethics of the late fifties... never looked so worn yet cool...

I was studying the concept art, while stuff dries in my turbodryer device...
And although I am taking liberties with the design, I could not figure out how to do the vents on the sides

But the diorama accessories are almost unheard of in 1/48 scale, these are perfect!
